He has only gone ok in one wet race. Also the bike is being ridden in the corners short shifted, at much lowered revs than the dry, so the VSG's are way lower.

I think you'll find this pie chart far more useful confirming you are not in the minority Barry.

I think Stoner is going to be Dorna's biggest nightmare for the remainder of the season. He is systematically ripping them to bits over their poor management of the sport and as the year progresses he will ramp it up and with no other riders coming out declaring him "wrong" the mud is going to stick.

Punters across many forum's and many commentators seem to be really having a dig at Dorna for all the rule changes and poor condition that MotoGP finds itself in. Not many of them seem to have faith that Dorna knows what is wrong let alone has a formula to fix it. I would not be surprised at all to see a big drop in viewer numbers by the end of the year and next year. I know that I won't be re-subscribing to MotoGP.com next year and will revert to just watching the races on TV rather than every interview, every practice session etc. I am so disappointed in what the sport I have been watching for 20 years has been reduced to with Dorna at the helm.

You think Stoner is an issue this year? Wait til he has zero ties for next year. You have to know he will be on record with someone doing an interview that is going to get personal and nasty. The tires do suck. They need to go back to the tire wars and get bikes on rubber they help develop.

quote 'cliché guevara' agreed!

i find this funny, while i can respect some fans disappointment with rossi because he doesn't push it over the limit all the time and thus from time to time is being beaten by other duc riders i can not get my head around people saying hes getting wooped.

you're not being whooped exactly when you lead the points when it comes to other riders on the desmo and you're the only one with a decent result to show.

Well if he aint pushing he aint worth the money. i love the way IQ's drop when people blindly defend there hero's.

Hmm, he's still leading all the other Duc's in the overall though so you're theory is flawed. Aye, Hayden has been faster than Rossi but chews the tyres whilst doing so, hence why he's nowhere at the end, like last weekend. Rossi has the nounce to understand that and bides his time. What it boils down to is the Ducati in flawed and it seems the only way of getting a semi-decent result is not push hard at the start and preserve tyres.

Saying what's on his mind....whinge, whine, ....., whatever, it's his opinion and he doesn't give a ....! Maybe more riders should say what is really on their mind.

‘L8Braker' fully agree with your comment, Stoner has always told it like it is and we are going to miss this from next year because we are going to have the circus of JLo, Rossi which the FIM is so enthusiastic about in MotoGp viva the acrobatics and all the ........ that will entail in MotoGp when those two will run the show. It’s a pity that this great sport will be run by theatrics, money as Stoner said (and was the main reason that he was forced to retire about) and not by true racing like it was years ago. MotoGp has lost me and it will take a whole lot of changes to turn me back. But Marquez can be happy and thankful to Stoner for makeing his MotoGP debut with the Honda 2013 factory team now that MotoGP rules that forced incoming riders to work with satellite teams before joining factory squads have been relaxed and this is thankx to Stoner’s comments about this exact fact.
