Someone's been trawling old PS posts. That's the snap of M-Dub I posted around 3 years ago.

I remember that. The good old days.

.... how much BS over the Stoner quote - narrow mindedness because x boppers makes me dislike the rider more etc ??......

Far out all that really matters is what they do ON the track get over yourselves.

Stoner is gay and Adriana is carrying him an Pedders baby

Get over it guys, he is Prescilla queen of the desert and camp as a row of tents

Thanks for the info Barry, appreciate it

You picked and quoted a post where i made suggestions on alternitives to CRT at andy roos request. You poke fun but make no suggestions yourself. I then point out you have nothing to say unless its about stoner. Yes this thread was about stoner and yes you have had a lot to say but nothing of any worth.

I dont hate stoner but he does irritate me as do some of his bopper fans . Infact as many here will say, its his fans that have turned people away from stoner !

By the way, i know what JATO means

Yes he did.

Get rid of fuel limits for a start. Ive always said Turbo's would make the sport cheaper. Squigs idea of low octane fuel is stupid imo. Imagine the cost of building engines with the power needed and not detonate. Unless he wants the power of gp bike's reduced to that of a road bike of course.

No wait a minute that was my stupid idea.

Whatever. still a stupid idea !

Dont get me wrong, i would love to see technology where high performance engines can run on .... fuel. The thought crosses my mind every time i fill up my subaru with expensive 99ron. But at a time of cost cutting ect in this sport i have to wonder what planet your living on to suggest this now ? Maybe that why your called Birdman. You live in cloud coo coo land.

Doesn't really matter if it were you ,sqigs, BM, coup33, pinky ect. Your all cut from the same cloth imo.

Coo coo land is great. I love it.

All convicts are the same to you haha. Of course prison clothes are cut of the same cloth.

Its not all hate and bitching, just read some social meet threads to see the fun had and respect for other members. Like anywhere there will allways be a few that like to feed of negitivity and some whoi dont really give a .... about the sport. They just follow one rider blindly like a teenage groupie. These are the Neo-boppers being mentioned in this thread. You will notice these people dont meet up . Their not interesed in the real part of powerslide. Just Keyboard warriors.

Many convicts have become accustomed to the isolation of Van Diemen's Land. And many like it that way, including the one called Stoner. Plenty open spaces, secluded beaches. Some are still a bit suspicious of the foreigners clanging of the shackles.

Im not surprised with your densely populated cities you are much more socially adjusted to bumping into other humans every three seconds.

You guys are great fun mate. I would gladly shout you an ice cold beer on a stinking hot day. Hey the arrogant Aussies are probably even going to lose the Ashes soon, so plenty of cold beers are going to be required to drown out that incessant chanting.

Whoopsey added nothing to the debate. Sorry bout that.

What kind of bass do you play, accoustic or electric? I understand your frustration, only four thick heavy strings, high action, long skinny neck. You bassers are the real men, us guitar slingers are pansies with the skinny little strings, whammy bars, too loud Marshalls. Go Aussie Angus!!!

Lucky you didn't say that about someone else Pete, I mean, imagine the upset.

And he is not gay, he is just a very happy boy, oops, that right he is a miserable git, but still a happy miserable git

Fixed it for you Pete

I would lose my .... if we got one but I don't think (and I may be wrong here) we have any world class racing facilities. I know on the west coast we don't.

BTW... too many pages back to remember but someone posted about turbos and not fitting under the fairing... I was at one time considering this mod for my '99 VFR. Supercharger fits right in original bodywork and works like a dream! http://www.aaperf.com/vfrkit-gen5.html

I must be blind but where the .... in that story is Casey quoted as "If we all race on CRT i will stop racing" ... ffs one sensationalistic headline without substantiation and you get 10000 bites.

another story where a website puts stoners name to a story to get more hits for there website

It would be cool, if only to get some interest generated in this country. But the location is no good for me. California is closer and warmer

I think Laguna will be my first GP.

If you've never been to a MGP race you'll love it! Laguna is becoming classic for PS meetups!

Latest AMCN mag Burgess is quoted as saying that he agrees with everything Stoner said regarding the loss of prototypes. Burgess says they are going to far and the appeal will be lost. He says that MotoGP is a technical sport first and dumbing it down is wrong.

Rossi is also quoted as saying he does not agree with where they are going.

But hey don't let that stop the self appointed experts from determining what everyone must think.

I don't see Rossi offering to fund a couple of bikes out of his salary. And Burgess' idea of going to 600s is a recipe for spending increases that make the 800 era look like a blowout sale at Walmart.

Do you not think that when Rossi retires he might set up his own team or something? Cant see him detaching himself from the sport completely...can you?

Well I say ........ on Burgess. MGP (for me) has always been about the best riders in the world and definitely NOT the tech... Then again Jeremy's a wrench and I'm a rider!

At some point i'd like to extend an olive branch to u.

Sounds like ur not including urself as one of these "experts". U are as much of these self appointees as i am buddy. Les u forget ur takes.

So let me get something straight before i go on. You said changes in rules was to help Rossi out. But here you use a quote frim Rossi saying he's not in favor of the rules changes as padding of support for Stoner's take. Interesting. So who are the "experts" we should be listening too in ur shifting ATM quote machine of--who is credible today? Afterall, its Stoner & Rossi who said they wouldnt show up to Motegi because it was unsafe, while "non-experts" called ......... Turned out there was more abient radiation in Italy than in Motegi. So much for "expert" opinion, eh.

And here is the piece u ignored and continue to ignore, take a look at the thread title again. Those other riders, those expressing their apprehension about the new formula, didnt then add that they might walk away. That is a significant difference. That is why this discussion exists. We already know there are doomsdayer resisting change, its happened the last two formula changes (peehaps u didnt notice because Stoner wasnt complaining). I know u and others will again rally to his defense, but regardless, its a difference that makes his comments lame. Empty threat on top of it, as he will prob show up just like he did at Motegi.
