nah ,don't feel like making a fool out of myself

i appreciate when people try to be objective about certain topics but what i appreciate even more is when somebody that holds some sort of grudge against a rider is man enough to admit it to himself that this will inevitably spoil his posts

no matter the headlines, the past few weeks it seems a couple of guys here(that is including what you call "neo-boppers") are obsessed with finding fault with some rider and to be honest,it spoils the forum.

You said " its because this prisoner beat your hero" (paraphrase but close enough) You implyed my hero is Rossi so assumed my posts are not objective because of this, correct ?

Using this is not being objective yourself ie us against them neo-bopper standard line. Secondly you are wrong in your assumption. If you followed avents at the end of last season you would be aware that i have not supported Vale this year, as the members who have attended races with me will testify. At Silverstone i supported Cal and at Laguna Seca i supported... guess who. Ask arrab as he lost money

Who i support should not sway your opinion as i believe the peeps claiming the original article being a non subject have. I was accused of hatred, twisting the words ect even though i just cut and paste a news article with original link. Why ? because you all think im a Rossi fan. So this makes you all Neo-boppers

Chopper didn't make up the story genius.

No, on this thread, just you, mental, BM, Pov mainly.

Make no mistake, this is most certainly a new evolution of fan. Its quite typical, and certainly a pattern of human nature. I've made several analogies to real life examples already. You have abandoned all previous standards and logic because your boy is the top dog, it happens to the weak who's principles are based on the shifting of fortunes. And quite ugly I might add.

and Michaelm.....he is also a Neo-bopper as he is of the same opinion?

Its a non issue for the majority of people respnding to this post Jumkie - as much as you love to dress it up as something sinister...it is not.

Sydney's got waaaaaaayyyyyyyyy better beaches than Bondi.

Wattamolla beach in the Royal National Park is a perfect example.....stunning. Ill bring my shark repellant and we can meet there
<

Only mentioned Bondi for Choppa to recognise. I'm from Wollongong originally, still like those beaches best. Wattamolla, is that the one where they land the hangliders?

Hell yes, a sensational lille beach, as are those further north in the park as well even if they are far more dangerous in terms of currents etc (they average 1 drowning per summer period).

We are definitely spoilt for beaches, I mean, ours even have reals sand
<

Gaz

Sand and warm water is for pooftas with soft feet and a weak bodys. Pebbles and cold water is for real men.

The sweet sound of back peddle

You want to talk beaches? (Good diversion, as I'm starting to think we all just imagined Stoner suggested an early exit of the sport, and is now just a non-newsworthy issue, as are most pronouncements by current series champions).

but... I'm sure your beaches have nothing on South Mexican white sand beaches.

Wattamolla beach is actually in the Royal National Park in a secluded little spot all by itself

Well then you can relate, as you been doing your own fair share of "sucking", but in this case, Stoner's ....

(joke)

Yes, they are beautiful. But please for the love of God Stoner, tell your brother to start drinking some real Mexican beer instead of piss before he gets sick. Be his keeper and tell him Tecate is much better.

I have been informed Corona has a "special" ingredient....Mexican piss is an apt desrcription apparently

Turbo Charging in MotoGP will never happen. You would need .... off big restrictors to keep power levels down, not to mention how you would fit a turbo as well as an intercooler in the fairing, V4's would probably be a thing of the past if it were to happen. Anyone remember the sort of hp figures F1 cars were putting out when they were Turbo charged?

Where there's a will there's a way. As for restrictors, im sure a rev limiter would do. If you cap revs you cap power. I cant see where to put a turbo and intercooler being that much of a problem to be honest.

You guys sound like meeting of the members of the MSMA. First we'll make it killer powerful and then...

we'll restrict all the power to the point of uselessness. Lets just put an Atlas missile up their ... and be done with it.

Its about double standard. Downplaying the champ saying he might consider an early exit is news. For better or worse, the champ's words at any level is news. Suddenly its just hating or mountains out of mole hills, or as you put it "sour grapes" etc., but its just an attempt to downplay the comments that were out of wack (something not uncommon for Stoner). But its all comes down to double standards. So far just about every Stoner fan and the neo-bopper here has found nothing in his comments, yet the fact remains, he suggested an early exit (this is not disputed, is it?). Again, when the champion of a series says he considers leaving the sport for whatever reason, its news, and his intentions scrutinized. But you guys want to convince us it didn't happen, or its some ulterior motive we harbor? I'll tell you what is "transparent and childish", to read the man's comments and wholly dismiss it, or as is suggested, 'to read between the lines' on one hand but argue 'he's a straight talker' on the other, because its your guy saying it and find some way to downplay his words.

This point cannot be argued, so you guys turn to these options:

1. Downplay (Its nothing, no big deal)

2. Interpret his words ("read between the lines" Maybe he didn't mean it, except he says what he means...)

3. Its just Stoner hate (the favorite because its the easiest lazy option to discredit without alternated reason)

4. If you recognize he meant what he said, then the argument turns to his motives are lofty (double standard, see Rossi).

Of course it happened.

I haven't argued costs need to be looked at, nor have I argued that we need to close up the racing to spice up the show. All are valid points & a strategy is needed to achieve this.

All I am saying is that perhaps for some of them, the thought of no longer being able to ride the bees knees proto type bike after riding them for years & then being asked to ride a dumbed down spec bike may dull the passion in them a bit. Perhaps we should ask Hamilton & Vettel etc if they would like to drive a UK touring car from now on in Formula one & see what response we get.

Is there any other series where these guys get to ride such state of the art machinery? How much difference will there be riding a CRT, world superbike or even an Aussie superbike?

This I think is what Casey is getting at.

.... it....lets just bolt some JATO's on either side and the riders can light the blue touch paper when they need to overtake a slower rider
