Bayliss tested before he retired. He actually has the chance to explain the bike to MM who is a rookie and despite his talent will take a few rides and some mentoring before getting it.
He will do that for the team before he goes.
As MA just said about the Ducati. If Stoner was a complete ....... he'd take it for a few rides and set a circuit record on it. He has a good rapport with Ducati, wouldn't be surprised to see him hanging around their pits a little.

CS does an epic ride on the Honda, knocks Rossi off his Ducati on the cool down lap, throws down the fastet lap of the weekend beating the still circulating CRT's, stops and picks Rossi up telling him...."Here I fixed it for you in 80 seconds" ....grabs his trophy and goes home to fish!

Doubtless it is these qualities which made him only a second a lap faster than the field at PI the other week, including his first flying lap 5 minutes after coming off the bike.

I would find it hard to believe that he would stay around for more than 30 secs..................................but I would love to see him hop on the Ducati and put in a few fast laps, just to show Vale the times the bike was capable of! Maybe if his ankle was good he might have..............

They asked him this question in the pre-event press conference. He replied is not interested in staying and will leave after the race. He add, which I thought was hilarious, I'm not that interested in what happens, "I'll read what you guys have to say about it and pretend I believe it." Hahahaha
