Good read....Interesting that Yamaha has said they wont get into a bidding war for JLo.....in my view it mean Yamaha wont be pressured and can take their time on making any and all decisions....pressure is on JLo to decide on money and risk with Ducati vs easy ride and lesser money with Yamaha...
I do hope JLo jumps to Honda or Ducati or even Suzuki at some point in this career and tries to win the title there....otherwise, it will always be a question mark over his greatness vs other that have jumped to other bikes and won the title...

Probably open up his own t shirt stand and charge $2,000.00 per autographed shirt.Question..
How bad does Rossi have to run in the first 6 races for him to call it quits at the end of the year? Like Kropo said, I don’t believe he is one that will circle the track in mid pack for the next 3 years just for a pay check. If he doesn’t truly have the chance and/or skills to win any longer, not saying he doesn’t, I think he does, but IF he doesn’t, what is the breaking point when he says, “.... it, I am heading to my ranch and my school to drink wine and teach the next generation of great MotoGP riders”. No wins? No podium in the first 6 races? No finishes above 4th? Above 5th, 6th?
Just curious… I think no wins will really weigh on him.. No podiums would do it..

Getting beaten at Qatar, and possibly Argentina would sting. But in reality, it will be about the distance to the leaders. If he is off the podium but a second back, he'll stay. If he's off the podium but 10 seconds back, he will go. I don't see the latter happening.
Based on last years form, he's guaranteed a podium with MM and JL looking like they'll place above him. Pedrosa looks lost at the moment (which I am surprised at, I thought he'd fare better on the new tyres and electrics than Marquez). The question marks for me at present are Redding and Vinales. They have the pace to keep Rossi off the podium if they continue as they have done in testing.
Rossi has an ego so big though, I believe at times he loves the attention more than winning. But of course there could be an early season weight change or tyre change....
Pedrosa is a much smoother rider than Marquez, who also uses a lot less front end. On paper, the Michelins and spec electronics suit him better.
I was thinking the opposite simply by what he did in Moto2. No electronics and suspect tires, the kid was dominant. I believe he is one of those riders who is just fast no matter what.
Part 3. And once again, thanks to Kropo.
