so, will hayden ever finish the race in top 10 on ducati? its objective target for him now, not top 5, not podiums, wins are beyond his reach,... real goal is top 10 finish in 2-3 races until end of the season...

If Hayden finishes in the top ten will you promise to leave the forum and never come back again?

Yes, they should fire him if he doesn't perform within the allotted timeframe.
He has until August 29th (day before Indy).

Surely they will let him finish the year out even if they plan to sack him. God what a start to a year. Bad weather, injuries from wiping out, injuries from an accident, new difficult to master machine, new tires...he hasn't written anything on his site since the season started.

I'm sorry but Dovi isn't performing like Nicky last year =/

true, he's performing better.

Last year, Nicky finished 4th at Jerez. Dovi was 8th this year (9th if Lorenzo finished).

last year hayden finished 10th in qatar, dovi was 5th this year in his first outing for repsol team. at jerez apart from mistake he had pace for 5th, in 2008 race hayden finished 4th only because stoner had ...... race. so similar pace at jerez for both of them.

and... 2008 has been haydens 6th season with repsol team, last sunday jerez race was dovis third race for that team and this is only his second premier class season.

Ducati wil start looking around for new riders following their home race at Mugello (where Bayliss will test as well).....
if Nicky can get some good performances at Le Mans and Mugello then his seat gets safer, but even Capirossi's win could not save his seat at Ducati back in 2007....

If Nicky's performance remains as it was in Jerez then he will be given his notice and new factory rider announced after Laguna Seca.....so he can take the Summer break to consider his options....so the decision will be done and dusted well before Indy.

I did not suggest he would be Fired before the end of season...He will see out the year with Ducati in GPs, however, he may not get a second year with them.....all decisions will be announced around the summer break time.
