casey won after that practice crash... where is hayden after his? 12th on ducati strongest track.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (#27aus @ May 4 2009, 08:14 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>cuz duc was significantly less competitive or yam and honda was more competitive than in 2007. but facts speaks for itself... after 2 seasons + 3 races on duc stoner vs teammates 17-1 in wins... btw that one win was more due to weather and tactics than capirossis pace...
are so in 07 is was all casey cos he is super human but the year later it was the bikes fault and yam and honda were beter. so by that logic casey is super human if his competitors are not competitive. why didnt you say that before, i fully agree

comparision with his 08 teammate suggest that hes been even more super human last year than in 07.

aus27. dont worry these guysm their logic are so flawed they cant see thru the forest.

trying to compare stoners year on a mini budget on the LCR, a team probably comprised of 10 people, suspension settings coming out of lucios own ..., and compare that to the full factory backing of honda and yamaha with millions of backing in japan providing with personal upgrades for them.

haha yeah good one

end of day

rossi, horhey, dani and casey are all superfast riders. they have been all anialating thier team-mates results or the rest of the field. the rest are good riders, but dont have that extra edge to them to make them great riders

rossi and horhay are team mate's andhave hardly been "anialating" each other's results

When you decide on a setting for Sunday on Sunday luck plays a big part. You can't say they knew the results would be as good as they were until they were tested and they were tested in the race. Burgess has done this before and I'm sure he would admit to being lucky the odd time. Of course having Rossi on your team is double luck when something works.

stoner 06 and stoner 07 ???
he beat the GOAT fair and square....that has to take some kind of specialness surely?

it is well reported that CS and VR both like to use the hardest tyres yes?
so in '06 when VR was curseing his michelins whilst watching the other michelin runners still "running", how do you think CS was feeling? (apart from dusty). he was way down the michelin pecking order compared to VR and essentially wanted a similar tyre...did he get them? methinks not.
and just how well did all the riders who climbed aboard the lcr after stoner fare? considerably worse than him and they were more experienced riders too! stoner had a proper rookie season, whilst showing flashes of what was to come and also overcooking it trying to find the limits...

not a pop at you rog, just another way of looking at the data...

funny how no one did as well on the lcr after stoner. bit like no one has done well on the duc after stoner. mabe its true about he likes weird set ups and that make the bike useless for others. just a thought.

Then again, the LCR Honda was a different bike after Casey went to Ducati. Casey rode the 990 standard bike. In '07 they ran the 800cc 'Pedrocylce' so were in receipt of a customer version of a substandard bike. Given that the factory one was a pile of ...., Checa had his work cut out. Last season, Randy was still lumbered with the '07 model albeit the factory version from that year I believe, and until this year they were running Michelins.

Sure. If stoner's activities on a 990 honda on michelin tyres in 2006 which famously (or perhaps semi-famously given his stature at the time) he was not allowed to set up to his liking have translated through to an 800 honda on bridgestones and by extension possibly to the whole honda 800 programme maybe he really does have powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men
<
.

I thought randy did quite a bit better than passably well on the lcr honda at jerez anyway.
