Rider of the day: all of them deserves this but most especially Dani --- I mean, my heart's out to him seeing how he is after the race: the pain and the weariness is soooo evident on his face. GO DANI!

yup brilliant race ... commendable effort by Gibernau too.

poor nicky .... things just aren't happening for him atm..

for a few laps the pop ups on the left hand side of the screen was showing that "Eli" ie Ellison was in tenth spot, and then up to ninth position ... then it was changed to KJR's name about maybe 5 laps in. ... was that a mistake or was ellison running well for a short amount of time?? LOL

^ WOW! You noticed that? I was so immersed with the battle at the front I hadn't had the time to even blink and look elsewhere.

^ well sadly enough more often than not if i dont watch the rankings come up then i dont get a idea of where vermuelen and hopper are
<
....

Whoa, who gives a ....... if Pedrosa smiles with performances like that!!

Another heartattack race, with the perfect result.
<

I´m not that excited to be honest. it was a nice race with a good battle between rossi and loris and a fantastic race for pedrosa. big credits to pedrosa, he showed some character today! you´ll never hear me say anything bad again about that dude because he just doesn´t smile much
<

but for the rest... nicky was just realy disapointing. tamada sucked. elias fell off again as usual. melandri wasn't good (so glad I kicked him of my team btw). de puinet with his camakazie actions taking out nakano. where were vermeulen and hopkins btw??? stoner falling back on the grid...
<

rossi compaired it with the race in mugello
<
mwahh mugello was by far a more spectacular race than this one. the origin of me not beeing so excited can also come from the fact that it was WAY to early this morning and I was still in bed with the tv very quietly on. respect to all the aussies/americans who are forced to get out of bed every sundaymorning to see a race (if the tv doesn't broadcast it in the afternoon that is)

yeah i'll agree with you on that one! i feel shattered getting up at 8am to watch the race especially cos i was out till 2:30am this morning on the lash
<

not a bad race.. good fun watching loris and vale.. thought capirossi might have snatched it but fair play to the doc, he did the business. but you have to say well done to dani.. what a ride considering his crash!

vermuelen has been suffering with a head cold for the whole w/e ... hopper didn't fair too badly in the end, 6th!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (46marijke69 @ Sep 10 2006, 09:03 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>stoner falling back on the grid...

suffered from heat exhaustion and cramps alll w/e and got a twinge in his back for the second half of the race and found it painful to move his arse off the seat around corners

we have to stay up late on a sunday to watch it ... i think americans would have to wake up early. ... but then they have their whole sunday morning to get over it. Us aussies pull a late shift up to 12-1 am and then have to go to work or school the next day .... WE are the most committed fans
<

^ we are only separated by about three hours Katt, so I guess we share the same fate in almost every race.
<

spare a thought for the kiwi's ... they've got to stay up and extra 1 or 2 hours than us
<

suck crap to all of you's next weekend ... ya'll have to get up something like 4 hours earlier than you did for this race .... muhahahahaaaaaa

I always feel a little bit sorry for Pedrosa - as he always works so hard especially today but just doesnt seem to be particularly higly regarded by his fellow riders.

I mean the poor guy was clearly in a lot of pain today - yet Rossi and Loris just practically ignored him after the race and on the podium and carried on with their antics making no effort to involve him.

Hayden also clearly doesnt appear to have a lot of time for him (though we can understand why in hayden's case).

I dont know what he's done for him seemingly not be very popular amongst the riders.

IMO it looked like Rossi was gonna put the chair on the podium so that Dani could sit down, for a laugh of course, but Dani with his stone cold alan sugur face probably scared of Rossi.

I don't think that Dani is disliked by any of the riders and he could lighten up a teeny weeny bit, but then again he did have a massive whole in his knee.

And what the hell are Honda doing to Nicky? If he loses the championship, its going to be there fault. Why cant they give him a decent bike instead of all this evo development crap, cant they see he's trying to win a championship, just fix the fukin clutch already

This is a sport for Men, Rossi has riden with a broken hand this year, Sete and Loris too, and no one said anything about them, so why feel sorry for little Dani.
