Sachsenring practice/qualifying

Watching the live timing and (don't all jump down my throat - I know it's only practice)
but currently Hayden is showing at the top of the page with the fastest lap time of
1'323"041 - while everyone else is in the 133s. If I hadn't heard Gavin confirm it - I'd have
assumed it was some kind of technical glitch. But it's for real.

Anyhoo... looks like Stoner got his rain.
<
But gotta say - when the cameras
followed him into his garage he still looked unhappy; shaking his head and sighing
a lot. Track's drying out - and lap times will drop... for now.

Merci.... Hayden goes back out - and zing, he's back up to front of the pack.
They're in the 1:26s Loookin' goood.

Hayden back out front, Gabor 2nd????

Maybe the track is getting faster/dryer...

EDIT - Times have fallen by 5 seconds in the last couple of minutes, rain must have stopped and/or track is drying out quickly.

Times are dropping into the 1.24s and Hayden is still at the top. Suppo looks thrilled.

this is a weird practice session...

nicky on top of the time sheets for several instances, and at one point ALL of the yam bikes were outside the top ten

It's just practice! Practice! remember when RDP finishes first in a practice session a few months ago.
By Sunday all this crap will have changed, But hopefully we can see Nicky in the 5 spot or higher if one of the big 3 go down!

calm down dude, i know it's just practice. but even so, even in practices, where do we usually find Vale and Jorge (and sometimes Colin)?

in the top ten, right?

that's all i was trying to say.

but hey, for a change, why not? plus we get to see nicky on top of the time sheets.

Lorenzo was using the airbag?? Anybody have a link on how the hell this is supposed to work?

It's good to see Nick start out in the top 10, we know he likes this track so I think some were expecting him to start off well. Let's just hope that he can carry on and improve tomorrow and get a decent qualifier.

You delusional twisted Hayden fans are soo hilarious. The guy is in 8 place out of 17!! That's like in the middle, and yet you crazy people are applauding Nicky as if he just found a cure for cancer. Give me a freakin' break, you people make me sick.

A Nakano/Kiyo/Japanese rider fan complaining about mid-pack riders. Now that is funny

Nothing more, nothing less. I know that you know on the 'Streets' the Suzuki is thee bike to have as far as 'stunts' goes, but that is IT.

Come MotoGP, Suzuki is as lost as Hansel and Gretel in the woods if you want to know the TRUTH about motorsports competition, Suzuki is way WAY behind my friend.

SS56 come on man don't bust my balls on Friday after only one practice in mixed conditions. 9 tenths is not WAY behind when < 1 second separates 1st to 12th. That is a close group. Discounting last race they have 3 top 5 finishes in a row. This should be a great track for the GSVR.
