Funnily enough I was saying to someone that Rossi seems to have lost his 'sparkle' and grown up a bit...after seeing that HE'S STILL A BIG KID!

My fav is that skittles one, it's been a while!

I also like the portaloo though. This wasn't a celebration but I thought i'd bring it up - when Rossi was in 125s or 250s (green bike) he crashed into the cameraman after not looking where he was going after winning a race (low speed of course), anyone shed any more info on this?

the bowling celebration has got to be the best one ive seen!, i was laughing at the tv for ages esspecially with the last one just spinning around before falling to the ground

But I'm not saying how long!!!!!!! Do you think this celebration may have been put back from Valencia '06?

I only caught the last few laps highlights last night, but it sounds as if Valentino whipped 'em?

I would think he came up with it (not the idea, got it from Football, but the show) for Jerez (maybe not Losail)... but maybe your right, who knows!

Cracked me up though!

GUESS WHAT? HE'S A HAYDEN FAN!!

I'm not much of a fan of crazy and wild all out victory productions. We have that allot here in the States by primo Dana athletes who have their own little dance or antic after a victory. All you have to do to see this is tune into the next NBA basketball or NFL football game. I think it unsportsmanlike like, tacky, and attempts to show up the competitors. It was funny no doubt, he even had me cracking up. I can appreciate the humor of Rossi’s celebration but I’m not really up on all the glory hogging. The fact that there is an entire thread dedicated to memorable celebrations is an indication that there is much material by way of these embellished antics. Yeah, I know it was very popular for his fans, but even if my guy celebrated like that it would not really be something for me. Interesting though that last year I recall a few thread started by Rossi fans that explicitly pointed to Hayden’s celebration as “over the top.” I can only think of one person on the entire grid, past or present, whos celebrations were more akin to a mini production rather than a victory lap.

I’m just stating my preference in post race celebrations; a victory lap with your country’s flag will do just fine by me.

Hey Jumkie, I still can't help imagining them seven dwarfs trudging off home!! Makes you think that maybe there were 8 skittles stood there for weeks at Valencia!

you can hardly compare rossi's funny and inspiring productions as you call them to hayboys praysing the lord and balling his eyes out while doing some sort of dance that looked loke a 5 year olds tantrum. but i dont expect most hayden fans to appreciate rossis imagination and originality.

Ah Rog to the rescue. Dude, Hayden's victory lap was for the Title Championship. Rossi's was for a race win. Come on man. It's like these athletes I see in Basketball who go around pointing at themselves after a slam-dunk or last minute shot while the season is miles ahead still. Lets not even try to compare the difference between a win in the second event of the season and a title championship. Actually, his bowling production would have been more appropriate at the end of the season if he wins the title, but even then it still just showboating. Just before the yellow smoke and fireworks (that oops were intended for who?) It's great to show your emotion and all but do we need to see a sit-com pilot/play production to let us know you just won a race? You would think he never won one. And you call him a “gracious” winner? What exactly was “gracious” about that? More like showboat to me.
