There are many riders this time that could win the championship. Valentino could win again, because with all his skills you just can't write him off. On new tyres he will be hoping to stop from the bad encounters he had last year.
Nicky Hayden will be another hoping to get the championship back. He never really rode like a champion until the last few races and then he didn't look like winning. But he's back now and is topping time sheets, as is Dani, his team-mate.
Another not to write off is Marco Melandri. The Italian rode well for Honda Grisini and will only ride better with a Ducati beneath him, he will surely end up in the Top 5, if not Top 3, I hope he can do well because I think he deserves a good race after all the hard work he has put in, which is similar to the feelings about Colin Edwards.
