Hasn't this been beaten to a pulp already, damn. You title your pole ROSSI vs STONER, look through the forum you will see about 20 - 30 threads on this, or that end up on this topic. Also, you title it ROSSI vs STONER, then include some other names in the poll, huh. Its like Deja Vous over and over and over. Sorry I'm not a hater but it really is getting overdone.

Plus I have an underground agenda and thats Nicky Hayden, and these threads give him no respect

I do agree, its a pretty rad pic. Mortal Kombat style. Maybe a follow up with "Finish Him" in large words with Rossi ripping off Stoner's head

Vale with Bridgestones will only be beaten if Michelin bring something amazing to the grid.

I wish I could have as much faith as you, but then again I never regarded myself as a believer

Rossi has a lot going for him. A. he is settling his tax issues, B. Hopefully the Yamaha will be stronger both in acceleration as well as reliability, and C. he looks physically more fit than last year. Hopefully his move to Bridgestone's will not prove to be a miscalculation. My money is on Rossi this season.

This is a nice picture of Armageddon. But can you please do me a favor and photoshop a few more riders in there. I'm sure you can find Hayden flying through the air, and Pedrosa pirouette when he tried to wheele at PI, or I'm sure Elias and Depuniet have been seen somersaulting or casuing somebody to roadrash somewhere. Oh, and ad a few more names to the mix on the poll. I'd like to see Guintolli up there, he's my second vote.

I tell you what, I'll even tell you where i think Pinky has been hiding in advance to thanking you for making those edits to your cool pic and poll.

Here I think I found him:

PINKY IS THAT YOU?

Lets see.. last year, Rossi had .... for tires. Casey and Rossi are on same tires now so take that out of the equation.

Last year, for the most part, the M1 had .... for power. With the new pneumatic system, I'm sure the power will be very close to the Duc unless the Duc is one generation ahead in power delivery which is probably the case. I don't think it'll be that noticable compared to the M1.

Casey was flawless last year. Hard to say that he could've done any better. Rossi makes a lot of mistakes when he's trying to pass. But usually that's because he's on an inferior machine/tire and has to pass on the brakes. But somehow he manages to catch up there. He's Rossi.

Also, Rossi's not the best starter in GP. Often times he's blocked in after the first turn. I read that he's been practicing his drag racing. Good to hear. But Casey is incredible off the line.

Casey on qualifiers is unbelievable. He can pretty much podium all day long.

I unno.. damn its gonna be close. Can't wait.

I think the battle between Rossi and Casey this season will be more on rider skills and balls. When it comes to the straight, it's on the machine. When it comes to turns,chicanes,etc..the rider does matter.
Yamaha's new pneumatic engine will likely be very close to the Ducati's Desmo. At least Rossi reveals his target (about 5 km/h gap will be just fine). He can take it on the brakes. And he is gonna need better tyres too. Michelin was full of .... last year. But I do think Bridgestone is gonna do better.
Tax problem??? Looks like Rossi is gonna settle it down. And after that, he can ride and join the joyride.

Try telling that to some people here

Only 5km/h in real difference would be excellent, in a slipstream situation that would even mean passes on the straight, not only on the brakes. But I suspect the difference is going to be more, question is how much.

aww thats cheating!!

you can't go out putting turns in the track now just to help Rossi win!!

I mean last year all the tracks were straight .... how is Stoner going to win if you put a bend in the track in 08
