The relationship has broken down at Yamaha thanks to Rossi. Valentino is trying to push Lorenzo out! If Lorenzo is muscled out thanks to the considerable chickenshit influence of Rossi, we might as well give VR the trophy, let him claim his 10th "title" and hope he leaves after that. How much can one man wreck something...

Sorry but as a stereotypical Brit that can only swear or order multiple beers in a foreign language, I don't understand the article at all.
If the general point of the article and your translation are accurately matched, and it is not a piece of satire, then it really is becoming a sad end to a man's legacy. What team would get rid of the most consistent rider and current world champion on the say so of a soon to be retired "GOAT" (fact)???
And to think Stoner was called a moaner and Marquez is a cheat. Unbefuckinglievable.

I truly expect to wake up tomorrow and be given grief for falling for such an obvious piss take.

well, he threatens to leave if they dont renew his contract or if they sign lorenzo for 2017,

thats not really NEWS is it, cuz i dont think anyone thought these two would be in the same team after 2016. guess he is just trying to pressure yamaha not to sign a contract with lorenzo before him.

ps, all of this could be BS and made up story, cuz the only quote i see from rossi is that he wants to stay with yamaha.

The Italian press have sided against Jorge Lorenzo

Maximum tension at Yamaha. Relations between Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi are totally broken and the confrontation threatens to blow up the Japanese team in 2016. The coexistence is impossible and the team has a difficult problem for next season. One of the two pilots has to leave Yamaha, seven-times world champion threatens to withdraw if his contract is not renewed.

Lorenzo and Rossi. Rossi or Lorenzo. The dilemma is clear. Yamaha understands they must be without one of the two pilots in 2017. The two have a contract that ends in 2016 and the selection will be complicated. The Italian subsidiary of Yamaha is powerful and obviously has positioned itself in favor of the continuity of Valentino. In Japan, however, they consider options, but with less passion to fire. They believe that Lorenzo should their bet for the future.

First Races

Rossi does not want to wait to see how events unfold and has taken the initiative. The Italian rider has already announced he will decide his future in two or three months. After running the first MotoGP race; will assess how he is treated by the team principals.

Valentino has put pressure on Yamaha to renew his contract or threaten to retire at the end of 2016. "If I do not renew with Yamaha, I leave," said the charismatic World pilot. Rossi has made it clear, he will not accept Yamaha negotiate with Lorenzo to renew his contract before him. If that happens, in December he will leave the Japanese team and abandon his career in MotoGP.

What's interesting about this, is Rossi must think because Yamaha marketing wanted him so badly in 2013, that Yamaha corporate and race will kowtow to his demands in 2016. I think he is playing a gambit that may finally backfire spectacularly on him. To give into a rider who hasn't won the team a rider's world championship since 2009, and to let go of the guy who has delivered 3 since 2010, and almost would have had been 4 had Assen 2013 never occurred would be unprecedented.

Rossi still believes he is untouchable and free to do whatever he wants on and off track.

But he sells a boat load of bikes in SE Asia....

Frankly, I feel VR is untouchable. The season end debacle proved to me this guy still runs GP and the public opinion.

Hi, Jumkie. You might recognize me, I'm Alain Prost, 4 times Formula 1 World Champion. I was a man who Denis Jenkinson once wrote that watching me drive was a 'dull proposition' and he was at a loss to understand how I could be the fastest man on the circuit most of the time. When I retired, I had won more grands prix than any man in history, and was only surpassed by Juan Manuel Fangio for total driver's championships. Of course Michael Schumacher would go on to surpass me years later. Oh, and I scored more more points than Ayrton Senna in the two years we were teammates, but only had one title to show due to the rules of points counted in 1988. Plus he did try to kill me twice. I may be a diminutive Frenchman, but boy could I drive. Did you know I was in the running to seriously win 8 world championships? I narrowly missed out on the 1983, 1984, 1988, and 1990 titles. But, did you also know that in spite of my greatness as a driver, I was sacked by not one, but two teams? It appears all of the results couldn't save me from getting the boot by Renault, and then by Ferrari in 1991 when I likened driving their car as the equivalent of driving a truck. So there is hope you could see your despised rider find himself finally getting the boot.

Yamaha would be MAD to let Jorge go , i think this is trouble making BS :banghead::mad: But with Vali you never know... :bomb:

If this is true then Rossi has sunk to an all time low. Afraid to race Lorenzo on equal machinery, is he that scummy and desperate to take the title? [emoji90][emoji90][emoji90]

When Jums posts an article in his native tongue, I click the link, then copy the whole address at the top and paste it into google. The page will come up as the first result then you can click to the right "Translate this page". It will then come up in English, if somewhat broken sometimes.

Didn't realise english wasn't his first language to be honest. Wasn't meaning to come across as asking or demanding a translation of the whole thing. Just remarking that if the general point in the OP was an true reflection of the article, it's pretty shameful.
Thanks to Jum for the full translation though. Much appreciated.

I can unfortunately an easy solution to all this.

Lorenzo "supports" Rossi for his "deserved" 8th/10th title, VR retires amicably, and Jorge is free to go forward with Yamaha.

It is almost enough to make me a Marquez fan.
