i saw on a spanish forum that was exposed fracture of right tibia and perone, two months out and the championship gone for him! .... my life i'm so ....... down right now

As much as I am pulling for Lorenzo. This Sucks! Rossi is the greatest..I hope that he returns and is up to his usual talents.

I just hope this doesn't spell the end or the beginning of the end for him. This would suck very bad.

Reigning seven time MotoGP world champion Valentino Rossi has been ruled out of the remainder of his home Italian MotoGP after being diagnosed with a fractured right shinbone.

Rossi suffered a big highside in Saturday morning practice and with three races this month - and six races between now and July 25, when the summer break begins - the injury is also a monumental blow to Rossi's hopes of winning a tenth world title in 2010.

The #46 has never previously missed a race, since his 1996 grand prix debut in the 125cc class.

the PAIN.

Compound fractures of the tibia are not good.

Chalk up another one for the wonderful dorna 800cc safety formula. These bikes are bloody dangerous, more so if even valentino can't keep one upright.

I'd much rather he won it on merit instead of being handed to him on a plate by Rossi's misfortune but you gotta be in it to win it

Get well soon Che Spettacalo. Vive #46

what is a: fracture of right tibia and perone?

his Knee or his leg?

it sucks big time for us, Rossi fans.

but these things always can happen in such high speed racing, and he has been lucky untill now.

Edit:

I saw a little film on you tube, is it this? if yes he is finished for this year's championship

I'm sure Lorenzo would have prefered to battle Rossi to the end , But Lorenzo was leading on points so i don't think he has been handed it on a plate exactly. It's a long season, Lorenzo could blow it yet and there's still time for stoner to catch up.

I think this is the most serious injury Rossi has suffered in his long career. I remember him breaking his wrist once. At least it's his right leg so if there's restricted movement with his foot he can use a thumb brake. I would have thought his left would have been more debilitating as you can't move the gear shifter. I don't think he will be out long, couple of races max.

i reckon Brno at least whats that 6 missed races he might as well

coming bk early ain't going to do any good.
