RIP Marco Simoncelli

I'd admit. I don't like Marco. I was amused, entertained, frustrated, mad and now, was gutted for him.



He died doing what he loves to do. Having fun battling it out against his fellow colleagues. Sadly this cost him his life.



For his family, love ones and fans who are now left behind. My most honest and pure condolences to you guys.



And to me, however I try to cheer myself up thinking of better things. It's still sad, am disappointed, and angry that such an incident wasted a remarkable talent that is Marco Simoncelli.



Rest In Peace Marco, now go have fun up there and watch over us, your friends, the riders, your love ones and family. You will surely be missed SuperSic.

Went to bed with a prayer last night for him, woke up to the news.. and have read every post everyone's put up.



He was a Great Racer, and Great Character all throughout his career.. Thoughts and prayers now with his family, friends, and fans.. This is a dangerous sport.. I'm sure most of us have had friends that ride that have been severely injured or have died.. remember them..



Marco you will not be soon forgotten.
 
Opened up Motomatters to see the race results. Instead, I saw the headline: Simoncelli Killed In Crash At Sepang.



Unbelievable. Didn't think MotoGP could be any worse than the dirge it has been since 2007, but now MotoGP is dying, literally.



RIP Marco.
 
I think this is more a thread for tributes and respects than for details of the accident. They're all posted in the race thread. Thanks.
 
This news just stunned me, I went online today to see the results of the race, instead this headline popped up first. I'm still in disbelief. My condolences.
 
Woke up to the Horrible news this morning. Sic was probably the most entertaining guy to watch this season. I ran into him in the paddocks a few times and he never hesitated to greet someone back when he was greeted nor deny a fan a picture. I only knew marco through races, magazines, and interviews but i feel as of i have lost a friend today and its going to suck watching the races without him.
