Rider X speaks at Assen

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (odessa @ Jun 27 2008, 11:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Am I the only one that thinks this is a load of bull, this could be some jurno for all we know

Yes they are both good interviews but why the big secret on who the rider is?
If riders are going to be critical about other riders they should have the balls at least to name themselves otherwise why not sign up here and start posting, I believe that if a rider actually said this he would have been named thats why I think its some jurno in know
dont be such an old cynic mate

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BarryMachine @ Jun 28 2008, 04:22 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Its gotta be someone like Cadalora or maybe even Biaggi? Can't be a contemporary rider ? can it?

It can't be Biaggi because the itnterviews are by Guido Meda who is probably the journalist Biaggi hates the most.
<

It's not Meda himself nor any other journalist because the things X says can only come from a rider or an ex-rider who's still present in the paddock at every race.

Well one of the interviews has got a question in it asking how the rider feels about his season so far. So I guess it's a current rider. Though I've been thinking, Pasini is from Rimini and he certainly speaks that way...maybe a 250 rider?

I'll leave the forensic linguistics to you and j4rno, but I had gathered that the post test rider x had to be a current rider too. Trying to guess the identity of rider x is even more fun than what they say, and I guess must be a common past-time in motogp fandom in Italy. Whoever came up with the concept is very clever.

no source = no credit

Great reading anyway BG!

I wondered that too ..... but I also thought he may be too busy with other interests

Where's Checcinello from?

Maybe it is Randy Mamola. He is at the races all the time, rides the ducati with the celebs on the back. Knows everyone in the paddock.
