Are you really married
Anyway, Qatar will show the truth. If Nicky takes a look at Casey's video and on-board, which I'm nearly certain he will, it should be pretty obvious what he needs to do. The chassis/swingarm is super stiff and should allow him to initiate TC incurring slides very very PRE-apex. Notice how Stoner's engine cuts in and out in this video.

Don't forget that while Kalio beat him by a few tenths, he crashed when he was just starting to set a more consistent pace. I think Nicky had at least 5/10ths at Sepang if he hadn't dumped. Ducati's 90 degree engine and low displacement makes a flattened torque quite curve challenging and is the cause of the pumping. The electronics evoloution for Qatar should help.
He also has the option to do rear shock offsets (up to 45 degrees) to negate some pumping. Offsets would be a last resort, due to the bike's length
I'll be at Motegi, Assen, Laguna, and Indy cheering Nicky on. If he isn't on the podium by then, I'm throwing my kneesliders at his ugly goatee and rooting for 2010 Ben Spies. Upside is that WSBK will have a pretty sick Red Bull sponsored 1198!
.... you, lucky. Very insightful post, though. Thanks.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>yeah this was my thought as well here. I don't think Pedrosa is as much a contender as the rest but it should be a very intresting year this year. All the drama that has conspired since the last race with the economy and that Fachime Obama in office now we should be ready for some good racin.
If Pedrosa isn't a serious title contender then neither is Hayden or Dovizioso. I'd love to see those guys succeed but surely Pedrosa has a leg up on both.
