So Ducati have dominated the last WSBK test a week before the start of the season at the same track, and JR has crashed and potentially done his wrist in....

.....

Anybody else keeping up with the test?

Ouch. May not make the opener... what a ......., it was looking like a great start to the season. Didn't he fall at the Honda hairpin last week?

Melandri fell as well... any idea if he's aggravated that shoulder?

I haven't heard anything about Melandri except that he went to the medical centre. Rea's crash was mechanical, the bike spilt oil and caught fire so he abandoned ship.

Are the Ducatis starting the season where they left off last season as far as the weight. They had reached the lowest allowable weight in the formula by the end of last season and the next provision called for less intake restriction. Does the rule package roll over from season to season, or does Ducati start from square one. Or have they .... canned the changing weight rule all together?

Every configuration is running, or starting of at 165kg this year. That said, Ducati has always run well here.

Lascorz impressive and maybe Melandri can shut up the doubters now following the results of last test. Sykes showing steady pace over the 2 combined days and i really hope Haga can improve come race day. Impressive run by Waters and Yosh Suzuki, hope this encourages them to enter more races. Remains to be seen what Xaus can do this weekend. On that note, i hope Haslam is glad with his full factory support, could be the start of a long season for him after last year.

Oh boy, here we go!
<
Ducati conspiracy/cheating/special deal hate speech from Povol
<
We know, you hate Ducati..........BUT, they usually run well here and Checa did reasonably well last year when the Ducati was recognizably underpowered.

I'm busting your chops by the way, but we're all well acquainted with your dislike for the red folks from Bologna.....

Johnathan Rea. Another severely hyped up racer. Seriously what has he accomplished soo far in his career? Has he even been a champion in club level racing? Didn't Ryuichi Kiyonari spanked him when they were teammates in BSB?

GO Kiyonari !!!

Indeed Kiyo and Rea finished first and second together in BSB. Not much of a spanking but Kiyo was clearly better. That is why Kiyo went to WSBK and JR only to supersport. But once at world level things changed. JR was a title contender as a rookie, Kiyo was not. The following year they were teammates once more, and Kiyo got properley spanked that time
