rd6 assen... predics, practice, quali

Casey bike jumped bk a gear / Engine back fired and spit oil etc all over the place bk tyre etc

Stoner said it bacfired and stopped, no oil but he didn't want oil all over the tyre. So its a bit of the six engine rule coming in, ie. he was nursing the engine.

Does that mean that a Superbike would beat half the field at Assen? ...Interesting

Probably not, but slap some GP tires on the Superbike, and shave 30 pound off and it would get very interesting.. You would then have a 200,000 bike running comparable times to a 1,000,000 + bike . But then again, shaving that 30 pounds is what gets expensive.

J Lo is not going to win Assen Spies will usually be ahead of Nicky for the rest of the season. Spies will win a race before Nicky will. .

I have to say I thought it was interesting that Nicky was looking at qualifying pretty badly until he hooked up behind Casey.............

Nicky's times are not looking to impressive this time out, mind you compared to Lorenzo's no ones are.

Didn't get to watch qualifying but didn't Stoner lead it for most of the session and then only got to do 1 qualifying lap instead of the usual 3? If that is the case how is it that Lorenzo dominated?

Will be interesting if Ducati end up having to use well over the 6 engines this season and then Rossi signs with them for next season. Will we see a change of rules to make sure that he is not disadvantaged similar to the whole Michelin Bridgestone deal. We have already seen one change in the rules with Friday morning practice coming back due to riders crashing or should I say a 'rider' crashing!

The above is not meant as a go a Rossi but a very direct go at Dorna who after all are the ones suckling at the teet!

As long as Stoner's clutch is working properly off the line we should be treated to two battles. Lorenzo and Stoner will be battling 5 or 6 seconds in front of a 6 man melee for the final podium position. Dovi, Spies, Hayden, Edwards, Pedrosa and DePuniet should all be there.

I would like to know how much difference the new turn has made on fuel consumption, but I suspect that information will be difficult to come by.

Jl will clear out again, only vr was stronger here last year. The Spies/Hayden battle could be interesting, but watch for the midget and his Saturn 5 start from 7th- could make the first few laps exciting........

Its good to see that some ppl remember Rossi whining like a little girl when he wasnt winning. Funny how he never complained once when he was flogging ppl on the Miccys and his Honda! But I reckon your right as soon as he starts getting flogged again we will hear some other reason. Still I think one of the reasons that Whore Gay is doing so well is that he is on a well developed bike from Rossi and JB. Funny how no one gave Casey any credit for the duck..........

Akiyoshi trashed it hope thats not another one out he walked away bike needs a .... load of work
