yeah the first 3 were easy tho i had dovi pegged for 4th & i really gave edwards no chance to finish as high as he did.

yeah Daryl Beattie said same ... I wondered if he was ill or something.

Mind you I think its pretty obvious that all the Rossi v's Stoner stuff is a mute point ...... I think its pretty much Stoner V's Ducati

On that same note, Hayden did am amazing job tonight ....

Hayden 1 ....... Duc 0 ...... by my reckoning

You're right, there SHOULD BE 4 Yamies in the top 8 AT LEAST...

But seriously....Kallio will get the factory Ducati in 2010,

Giblets will re-retire to give his seat to 250 prospect probably spanish...

Hayden will seek employment elsewhere rather than ride with Can-o-Peas

AXN's channel 28 in the land of smiles...

...but you with me on the movie?

Who do I have the Edwards vs. JT side bet with?

Colin is already 13pts ahead after Round 1

and JT knows the track!!!

No disrespect to JT, I like the guy, but a bet is a bet.

Well done to Casey, rode a blinder.
Bad race for Valentino was never going to win it, rode the crap out of his tyres.
As for the rest alot of work has to be done. 10 secs back WTF with big gaps throughout the field.

Personally I think Dorna has a lot of work to be done to rescue this series, and find a more equitable formula that promotes decent racing.

Well gee I hope someone else starts up a bew prototype racing series again for those of us who like the formula

I liked Toseland at the beginning but the media hype is too much... they always interview him on the BBC at every opportunity.

Let him concentrate on racing please!

I can't see how Dorna is going to fix the series when they're the chief culprit in destroying it. Like I said before - let the series die and then let people like the Flaminni Brothers take it over. Someone without just profit as a motivating factor.

Does that rule out DMG and Roger Edmondson then?

You are absolutly right. After all Rossi had a much better start of this season than the previous, so Stoner will do his battles with Ducati somewhere far behind Rossi for the rest of the season. I assume that's what you ment?

Well, were there lots of battles I missed?

We got the usual mixup in the start then slower riders going backwards and faster going upwards, a few steps. The only repass I saw was Lorenzo reclaiming third from Dovi, the rest was all about finding their place in the line, nothing else and NOT very exciting. The only thing making it slightly interesting were fast factory bikes being passed by leased bikes.

Just caught an excerpt of the traditional 'egg roll' on the Whitehouse Lawn...it was full of overtaking and it was closer racing as well.

Not the best race ever, but glad to have races again, it seemed such a long time since last race in Valencia.

Not a surprising result, but it's just the first race, Casey just did the same he did in the pre season testing and free practices in Qatar. I think it will be closer in other tracks. I expect the injured people to improve as they heal, (Pedrosa, Hayden, Gibernau).

Melandri's attitude has changed so much from last season. Today he was giving it all on the track instead of just touring around like he did last season (I guess seeing himself without a job makes wonders)

Nice job by Stoner, Kallio, Suzuki and De Angelis (I mean the speed not banging Dani out of the track), OK the rest, though some are in trouble (JT, Caneppa)

Heres one for beating a dead horse. 990's baby!
