Stoner, Rossi yes
Pedrosa pushes beyond his personal limits. Avoiding accidents from overriding is part of being a good rider too. Inconsistent #3
Lorenzo is fast, but will not ride the limit like 2008. Inconsistent #3
Dovi raced in 2 more races last season and had Pedros 2008 spring valve at Sepang. Consistant #4
Melandri is clearly not as good. A good rider can adapt, but look at 2008. In 2006, that satelite 990 bike was well evolved and had more power than he ever used. He finished behind Nicky.

pedrosa destroyed hayden on the same bike.

dovi was rookie last season at non-factory bike... margin was 19 points in his favour... really shameful for hayden... specially laguna defeat...

lorenzo was rookie also... outrode hayden clearly...

melandri beat hayden in 2 out of his 3 seasons with gresini... lost in 2006 because of catalunya... had more victories that year...

<

Agreed!!!! The fact that there was bar to bar end racing in sbk just goes to show where the action is really at. Plus the fact that there were two seperate winners from race one and two goes to show there is going to be a long season ahead. It is also good to note that the BMW and Aprilia showed up and did a good job for two new teams. A whole lotta excitement is brewing and it isn't in GP. THAT SUCKS!!!! ....... Dorna and their monkies who need to get their heads out of thier ...... 990's, no fule limit, reduce TC or something, go like hell!!!!

Like it or not ....... Hayden is in the series. What are you gonna do about it? Complain and say .... that is just ...... lame towards Hayden the entire year? .... off and get a clue. Noone give a .... about your talk and I think most people like the fact there isn't one less rider on the grid. SO go back to what you do best; smoking ....!

Dovi was rookie last season at non-factory bike... margin was 19 points in his favour... really shameful for hayden... specially laguna defeat...19 points can be had in 2 races (or 3 if you count the assen fuel failure). Nicky wouldn't even think of hurting himself in Sepang trying. Laguna was bad, but Michellin was worse. Where was Dovi at Phillip Island?
lorenzo was rookie also... outrode hayden clearly...Same as Pedro. Crashing out of races because you override your bike doesn't make you a better rider. He may be faster, but must prove he's better.
melandri beat hayden in 2 out of his 3 seasons with gresini... lost in 2006 because of catalunya... had more victories that year...That Gresini was a good bike. More victories, but if you're gonna count CAT, count Estoril. Also, Nicky let Bayliss and Loris poidum ahead in Valencia. And 2008?

There is no way Melandri is going to be competitive on the Kawi at this test. No way. Give the guy a break. The bike hasn't even been on the track before.

He could find a way if he just happens to come across some sorta awesome setting but we all know how crazy that is. If he does well I wonder if Kawi might throw him a bone every now and then?

True...I think he's doing remarkably well considering. So what's Toseland's excuse

Jorge's race simulation. His fastest lap so far of the test was the last one in the simulation.
It's going to be interresting to see the end results as the grip seems to improve all the time.

i guess the more laps they do the cleaner the track becomes, also laying rubber down in the corners will also help with grip improving times

I like the fact that there is a Brit reperesenting and all but this guy is and has been way overrtated. HE talks a good game but hasn't shown anything but .....

"You mean in 2006 when he crash into him to hurt Nicky's chances?"

i mean 07 & 08, in 06 hayden had 3 years more experience with 990 bike...

"Laguna was bad, but Michellin was worse. "

Dovi was on M also...

"Where was Dovi at Phillip Island"

Being beaten in his 800cc debut at PI was less shameful than being beaten by rookie on his home track...

"Crashing out of races because you override your bike"

just as rossi override his bike sometimes in 00... or stoner in 06...

"That Gresini was a good bike"

melandri had 2 years less experience on 990 honda in comparison with hayden when he starts beat him in 2005...

Yes,I guess it's a confidence thing too. That's why i guess there is going to be some riders trying the absolute limits the last laps.Kallio?

Alarm Pedrosa: fracture of the radio. Come, unfortunately, bad news from Spain: in the fall on Monday, the curve 10, Daniel Pedrosa reported the fracture of the distal radio left and tomorrow at 18 will be operated in Barcelona by Professor Myr.

The break was highlighted by Tac, made today in Spain, where Daniel landed in the afternoon. The radio is the distal part of the radio closer to the wrist and in his will, a titanium screw.

The TAC has also confirmed the wound, with loss of substance with the left knee and will be treated with a vascularised dermal transport.

Currently, it is impossible to know the time for recovery of ill-fated Spanish, that even last season he missed the entire winter preparing for a nasty injury to his leg.

Radio = radial
