Qatar MotoGP: Stoner falls. Long-run for Edwards. Items on Toseland

A fall, fortunately without consequences to the curve 2, has very little to stop the test Casey Stoner. Returning to the Australian box said that it was closed and the steering started to run smoothly, though never for more than four consecutive rounds.

"Do not be surprised - he said Livio Suppo - Casey has always done so: enter, runs strong now, understand what you need and return to the pits to report back to the mechanics. Has never complained of wrist ".

Meanwhile, despite the cold started the first long-run: Colin Edwards has one of 23 laps. At first he turned around to 1 .58, while the final has made nine passages about 1 .57 high.

At the bottom of the league Marco Melandri, separated by more than three seconds, but that its performance, since for the foreseeable Marco it is the first test, a negative surprise to James Toseland and after the fall of sepang is not gone.

And some say, with some 'of malice, that the Yamaha would do well to check John Hopkins ...

anyone know if they are using the "new swingarm"?
The bike couldn't have been "bucking" to get that time!
Wrist must be feeling better too.

Sigh, here we go. Hayden has what, a total of 7/8 days on the Ducati? His teammate has been riding the Duke FOR 2 YEARS! Couldn't help myself, drawn into Pinkys' fishnet.

"A fall, fortunately without consequences to the curve 2, has very little to stop the test Casey Stoner."

shame for hayden. that was his only chance to beat stoner.

No, at that point Casey only had one year, younger brother!

Actaully according to SUperbikeplanet he has a whopping total of 6 days on the bike. Not bad for brand new everything to get used to.

I wish I was a moderator on this forum.

Seriously, this is the only time ever in my life I've said that.

I actually appreciate what you are doing for this forum, younger brother!
And Casey has more talent, that's why. However, that doesn't mean Nicky sucks. He's the 4 best rider out there, with the 3rd best totally dependant on the day and track. If Nicky averages 4th place with 2 home podiums, it will be 2nd the greatest accomplishment of his career. The field is stacked!

dovizioso, pedrosa, rossi, stoner, lorenzo, melandri... all of them are better than hayden... he is far away from top 5...

It sucks that the grid is so small this year. SBK had a cracking start to their season. I hope Marco gets his act together and starts to put things together a bit better cause he should be up at the front pack as well. HMMMM I wonder if Fagdrosa can't continue they might consider someone else in his place. Anyone could do better then the midget especially since he seems to be accident prone. Dani Crashdrosa needs to go to the 250's and stay there, especially since they are going to be the 600's soon.

hahahahaha

Stoner, Rossi yes
Pedrosa pushes beyond his personal limits. Avoiding accidents from overriding is part of being a good rider too. Inconsistent #3
Lorenzo is fast, but will not ride the limit like 2008. Inconsistent #3
Dovi raced in 2 more races last season and had Pedros 2008 spring valve at Sepang. Consistant #4
Melandri is clearly not as good. A good rider can adapt, but look at 2008. In 2006, that satelite 990 bike was well evolved and had more power than he ever used. He finished behind Nicky.

Back on subject, Nice work Lorenzo on passing up his teammate!

oooooooh nice run Jorge. I think that this year could be a good one for Chupa Chupa. I have to say he has gained a bit of respect from me especially since he toughed it out like a badass last year.

. How long can he mentally keep it together this year? Howlong before he gives up and starts badmouthing his bike, tires, team, etc.? They really should have taken Hopkins in. He is a better investment by far.

I wonder how much more Nicky is going to surprise us come race weekend? This could get interesting. I love/hate the rollercoaster ride.

nevermind marco he is on a way worse machine than toseland
