<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (clarkjw @ Mar 3 2009, 08:38 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Alarm Pedrosa: fracture of the radio. Come, unfortunately, bad news from Spain: in the fall on Monday, the curve 10, Daniel Pedrosa reported the fracture of the distal radio left and tomorrow at 18 will be operated in Barcelona by Professor Myr.

The break was highlighted by Tac, made today in Spain, where Daniel landed in the afternoon. The radio is the distal part of the radio closer to the wrist and in his will, a titanium screw.

The TAC has also confirmed the wound, with loss of substance with the left knee and will be treated with a vascularised dermal transport.

Currently, it is impossible to know the time for recovery of ill-fated Spanish, that even last season he missed the entire winter preparing for a nasty injury to his leg.

Radio = radial
Well maybe someone else will take his spot on the team cause as it stands now there will be one less rider on the grid.

That's pretty much my opinion of him too.He'll probarbly get the confidence back or whatever is the case but i think he is and has been more talk than results.

That is cool. I hope Hayden gets a bit of the understanding SToner has with the GP9.

Even still it is good to see it isn't hampering him as to where Melandri is at.

Pedrosa will need an operation on his left arm on Wednesday to fit a screw in a fractured radius bone, with his injured left knee also in need of surgery...

dam dont look like he will make the first race.... if melandri decides not to keep riding with kwak its going to be very low numbers on the grid dam grim if you ask me

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (gsfan @ Mar 3 2009, 08:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>There is no way Melandri is going to be competitive on the Kawi at this test. No way. Give the guy a break. The bike hasn't even been on the track before.

And does anyone think he will be competitive at all during the season? We're talking about Kawasaki here. I think Marco is racing just so he can be in the series. This is his year to show his attitude as a racer and his work ethic, to try and turn around the picture he painted of himself while at Ducati. As soon as he gets sour grapes and starts complaining it will be his death knell in GP. As much as I'd like to see Kawa do well in GP, they showed their commitment this off season by pulling out.

To be fair Stoner wasn't exactly famous for his long runs before the (re?)broken bone.

& Melandi's stock took a dive at Gresini first, when he admited giving up halfway through 2007.
