Qatar test

I can lead the horse to the water, but I can’t make it read simple sentences in English and understand what’s written.

Zarco = Crashlow may be the worst analogy I have ever seen posted on any MGP forum or blog.

a comparison between two things, typically for the purpose of explanation or clarification.

It appears to be your reading comprehension issue mon ami.

He was saying that Zarco is like Crutchlow in the sense that he is a non-PC bloke like Crutchlow, but more talented.

It's true that Zarco is extraordinarily blunt and that could ruffle some feathers in a factory outfit.

However, I think if AI has been in two factory teams, and guys like CS spent their careers riding for factories, Zarco will be able to manage.

I got what he was saying, Im not sure why some took it as controversial.
One of the reasons I like Cal is because he is forthright with his thoughts. People respect that.
I don't believe being that way has ever hampered his career. If your fast, you will ride.
Look at someone like Dovi. He's been slapped around by HRC, Ducati, and Lorenzo. All the while he's too scared to speak up. Noone has any respect for him because he won't stand up for himself. I would love to see that happen to Cal. He would set that Ducati garage straight and prove to his employer who the #1 rider is.

I feel like Dovi has changed.

I got the analogy he was trying to draw.

I will clarify my opost:

I consider the analogy that, "[Zarco] comes across as a Crutchlow like guy (but more talented), not quite the right fit in a full factory outfit because he is not going to censor his words according to a PR consultant", as possibly the worst analogy I have ever seen posted on any MGP forum or blog.

Dovi is not scared to speak up. He never did simply because that's not part of his personality. Honestly that's one of the things that made me like him since the very beginning: being a polite and humble person in a world of divas (while you're making milions which also increases the diva feeling) is a big plus. I was lucky enough to chat with him a couple times and he's even more polite and quiet away from the spotlight.

The 2017 situation with Lorenzo is a perfect example. They used to hate each other back in the 250 days so I would doubt they are besties nowadays. Ducati hired Lorenzo, paid him about 10 times more than Dovi and Dovi smoked him for a whole season almost winning the championship. On top of that Lorenzo refused team orders in Valencia and while that would have not have influenced the championship it was just unclassy IMHO.

Yet Dovizioso never, ever talked sh** about Lorenzo with the media. He's a class act and class acts just don't do that.

This.
I struggle to understand why simple concepts completely confound the posting elite in this forum.

Yet even if he had spoken up after Valencia, noone would have accused him of not being classy. Quite the contrary. People would have applauded him for finally not being a pushover and given him respect.
Sometimes you have to throw .... at the wall and kick a few lamps over. It puts people on notice. Dovi doesn't have that in him, he's like a Saudi Arabian wife.

And what would him speaking up have done?

Dovi is way to classy and focussed to be "peoples" next episode of East Enders. Or pander to the boppers wishes to demonise Lorenzo.

For the simple-minded among us...

Cal is a stream of consciousness babbling ..... box.

Johann's verbal skills (in two languages) are immaculate and well thought out.

Worst analogy ever.

You remind me of hockey fans that go to games hoping to see the players fight.

It's easy to diss your rivals when things are going well for you and bad for them, class stands in being able not to.
Even Stoner, of whom I am an enormous fan, couldn't resist throwing .... at Rossi when the latter was having a hard time on the Ducati.
That kind of behaviour, in my opinion, just isn't cool.

...and the point was not about the quality of what comes out of their mouth, but That they both have the capability of ruffling some feathers in a factory setting.

Take the two grey cells that you have, put them in a mutual fund with 10% return per annum and come back in about 65 years to continue this conversation.
