Qatar test

Outside of Marquez, noone including Pedrosa is having success on a Honda.
Tech 3 is always a dog and the Ducati that Cal rode was rubbish.
Its not talent that's holding him back

Remember when Cal threw away the podium at Phillip Island 2014 on the Ducati? The GP14 wasn't a bad bike. Not great, but Cuntslow chucked the bike down the road all the time. The problem has always been him. He's a proper .... who shoots his mouth off and can't even keep the bike upright half the time.

So we agree about JLo but not Dovi. Action peak louder than words. We won't know if Dovi rolls over until this season. Dovi got to this position because he is a fighter. His career to this point has been a fight and Dovi has never backed down or spoke out of line. Jlo is a press master like 46. He plays silly mental games but I don't think he can effect Dovi. Dovi is more concerned with result and improving.

Dovi's never improving. He's been average his whole GP career. Last year was an aberration. As I previously stated, it was a learning year for Lorenzo so Dovi looked far and away the better rider. Anyone that has watched GP the last few years knows that is a fantasy. If Iannone was still there last year we would have seen parity on the Ducati team.
Kudos to Ducati for finally building a competitive bike, one that can even make an average rider look good.

Up until 2017, sitting on a Ducati was a career ender.
I think Stoner ...... off early because riding that pile, took a decade off his life

Then you haven't been paying attention. Dovi has been a top tear rider on inferior equipment since Honda bounced him for a champion and their robot. Until Dovi left yamaha for ducati he was always in the top 4. This is with Rossi better than now, Stoner, JLo, ect. The dude has always been the best rider below stoner and marc he has just never had the equipment to prove it. Last year was not a fluke he would have scored more points in 2016 if his teammate and had not taken him out. He had 3 dnf's not of his own doing. Dovi has always proven to me he is one the best rider on the grid. If he had not been tossed at Honda he would have won a title by now for sure.

The GP14 was vastly improved from the 10-12 and not a career-ender as you would like to imagine. Dovi finished 5th in the standings in 2014 while Cuntslow was nowhere to be found.

Regarding Stoner it's already been well documented why he retired in 2012 and it had nothing to do with the Ducati. He was tired of the GP circus. He left Ducati because of the people there in particular the Marlboro Man.

Try not talking out of your ....

Did my post make you angry? Your reply is a quite abrasive for a conversation about rider ability.
If your unable to purport yourself like an adult, during a simple, friendly conversation, than don't bother engaging me.
As far as the Stoner statement, it was a joke, sort of along the lines of KR joking about how the TZ 750 was out to kill him.
It seems like taking things literally is the norm around here.

You can say the same about Cal. Both him and Dovi have never been much better or worse than their teammates. The difference being Cal frequently runs closer lap times to the leaders, but unfortunately can rarely Qualify up front on a satellite. Dovi can qualify front row on the Ducati, but can rarely keep it up there

Cal has never had teammates to the caliber of Dovi. Dovi and Cal couldn't be more different as rider. Cals number dont hold up to Dovi in the slightest

Cal wins 2 podiums 13 poles 3 fast laps 4 points 861

Dovi 17 83 18 16 3120

Dovi never falls. Like ever. Not in practice not in testing never. Newtons law is the only thing that brings Dovi down. Cal however crashes at the first sign of go. Different style, different attitude, different everything. The only rider Dovi can be compared to is the late great NH69.

Your post was monumentally stupid. You got called on it.

Quit whining. There was nothing to indicate the Stoner statement was a joke. Backtrack all you want but the original post doesn't lie.

Bad comparison; look at Dovi’s results. That’s what counts. There is no quali championship. Cal’s hot laps don’t mean .... ‘cause while everyone else is taking the checkered flag, he’s generally peering out from behind the air fence going Oi, wot ‘appened?

Dovi smoked Cal when they were on the same bike, both at Tech 3 and Ducati.

Not everyone here PURPORTS to be adult.

Fewer still COMPORT themselves a gentlemanly fashion when their patience is tried statements not borne out by reality.

Until last year Dovi has never had a teammate the caliber of Cal.
The statistics will never show the big picture. His record looks better than his teammates because he is a point collector while Cal and others are pushing to find the limits. Never crashing is not something to brag about unless your a school bus driver. That tells me he has no idea the capabilities of himself or his machinery.

The stats show the same as the eyes here. Not to mention one of those teammates was Casey Stoner and another was Cal himself. Who couldn't touch Dovi, Cal that is. Was he to busy finding the limit? Dovi has an amazing ability to find the limit without going over it. Dovi is a very smart rider who continue to improve and make steps in the right direction, while Cal continues to make claims that he is great based of nothing.

Dovi and his skill really show in the wet. He is so smooth it looks dry even. Thats because he is completely in tune with the bike any bike and finally the ducati. Rider like Cal are fast in the wet because they are dumb. While Dovi is good in the wet because he is smart.

There is no rider before Marc that crashes and is good. That not typical. Cal is not Marc as much as Cal and his fans think he is. It not commendable to continually ride over your head. Especially if you follow it up by under preforming race after race.

Unless I stated that Stoner worked in an asbestos factory, than there would be no person outside of an alien that just landed on earth,or a simpleton that could misconstrue the term, "took a decade off his life" as literal.

Again you are showing overly aggressive retorts during friendly dialogue.
My sentiments if you are having problems in your personal life and need to direct your anger somewhere but lashing out to make yourself feel better will only inevitably make yourself feel worse.

So if I try your patience through healthy debate, you condone debasing the conversation to insults?
Is this place a MotoGp Forum or an anger management seminar

You call it underperforming and yet you fail to take into account Pedrosa's results on a better Honda. Only Marc can win on it and that through ridiculous and unprecedented saves.
Dovi is good in the wet because Ducati is good in the wet.
How can you say he's good at finding the limit when he never finds the limit. Lorenzo at times last year found a limit that was much greater than Dovi's and that's the key to winning in GP. Not finding YOUR limit, finding your bikes limit

The reason I think Dovi is amazing in the wet is Donington 2009 on a honda. If you haven't seen that race I suggest you watch it if possible. He also did great on the Yamaha in it. I feel like you are basing your entire opinion of Dovi based on his time at Ducati.

One off "find the limit" laps mean ..... Nothing. Race pace win championships. Dovi has found fast laps during races and poles a hell of a lot more than Cal can find the ability to maintain a pace that can manage a bike to the end. Thats pathetic. What you describe and like about Cal sounds more like a TT racer than an actual circuit racer.
