Agreed but no/.... electronics make 200/250 hp unrideable at GP pace just ask Colin Edwards.

Completely. The MSMA particularly HRC have been insisting this for years. Since the event of this technology we have seen increased levels of sophistication and seemingly exponential development - but they still remain a rider aid which are now availed to all riders on the grid and not solely to Marquez. Ultimately an electronics package isn't going to ride the bike for him, rather manage certain aspects of it. It is difficult to gauge comparative advantage - the variables are huge. Remember Dani reduced softened his TC map at Brno during the race because it was limiting his drive out of corners.

He will have the best of everything for next year and he will beat everybody more than once,if he doesnt pm me your address and i will send you a case of your favorite beer,im that confident.

If I PM you my address - will you send me a case of my favourite beer anyway?

Tell that one to the CRT boys.if you think the lower ranks will have the same package as MM you are dreaming.

Substantially less power than a full on prototype but still containing systems that a mere five seasons ago would have been revolutionary on most Moto GP bikes. Easy for me to say - I don't have to ride one.

More pertinently this has nothing to do with Marquez and the intervention of electronics on the RCV213v next season that he will ride.

Are you predicting he will win a race next year? Well, given the fact he will be on 1 of only 4 bikes destined to win a race (by design and brokered that way by the league) then you have good odds in your prediction. 1/4 odds every race. But, he will still have to beat 3/4 of them.

I like your willingness to put it on the line. I did, and now have to pay up a bottle to my buddy Lil Red. On a related note, I also went out on a limb and offered a bet in Wsbk, which it looks I will surely lose, but everybody was too chickenshit to take me up on it.

Yes Jum i am,i dont know how old you are but i am 50 and followed this sport all my adult life and watched them all,MM is in my oppinion right up there with the best EVER and now MGP favours 250esk riders with very flowing high corner speed styles e will be outstanding very quickly, more than 1 race win will not be a shock to me.

At age 50, that may very well be some serious work.

Ok, I don't think he will win more than one race next year. So I will PM you my address to get the free case of beer. Tecate or Pacifico will do nicely, but I prefer whatever you normally drink.

You've just edited this and added the last sentence. Read my post - nowhere am I suggesting this but your original point concerned the intervention of electronics in respect of Marquez in view of his riding style - and not in reference to the rest of the field. You raised the CRT's - of course they don't have the same level of sophistication when their very raison d'être is to reduce cost.Colin's main concern is the difficulty of dialling the system in. Also worth mentioning that the Attack CRT that wild carded at Laguna with Steve Rapp contained a very trick Mo Tec system. Didn't help the power deficit which is the main thing crucifying these bikes. Even established systems on the prototypes have their gremlins. Remember Estoril when Nicky's GP12 jumbled up ECU calibrations for the wrong sections of the track rendering the bike practically unridable.

Ok i see were you are coming from and sorry for the late edit but the electronics package on the Honda will only help MM and his style hustle along at an even quicker pace,if im wrong a few Krug's for you.

In thedeal's defense, he may already be masterbating, which makes posting and editing comments a bit more difficult. The sentence he edited was previously "tell that to Colin Edwards..." His edit doesn't change his point much, actually. But anyway, honestly, when I first read your post, I also had to do a double take, as at first it seemed you meant everybody would be getting the same electronics package as Marc--the "soley" word was throwing me off. I even fired up the 'reply to post' box. But then I kept reading and reading your post, as I dread putting my foot in mouth replying to you. I concluded that you meant peeps will have electronic aids in 'general terms' as will Marc. I understand it to mean everybody would have access to aids in general, thought this is not the same level of electronic package as Marc will surely get.

Undoubtably - yeah I agree the increased degree/sophistication of electronics on a moto gp bike will ultimately help but it must be very counter intuitive and daunting putting your faith in these systems - I've always thought that. Remember Dani flipping the bike at PI on a practise start when he engaged the launch control - and then Motegi when the fly by write system malfunctioned and he bust his collar bone?

Marquez is very, very fast and has this win at all costs mark of a champion. He may well be instantly fast in testing, but once he's learnt to ride the bike he's a title protagonist for sure. I hope that this raises the bar for Pedrosa again - just as I believe it did when Casey moved to HRC.

Yeah, reading it back it was a tad ambiguous. Apologies for the raw deal, deal

and I do agree with you about Marquez.
