Pre-Season TESTING 2013-2014

And Cal. As much as I expect the Duc to be a pile of .... next season, I will be over the ....... moon if I'm proved wrong.

During the session today, you could hear Cal say something along the lines of the quicker he went the worse it felt.

Speaking of ........ rules, so one of the Ducati "satellite" bikes will be classified as a "non-MSMA" bike, even though it will be exactly as the prototype except for the Dorna ECU, which will allow them the extra engines and fuel .  This is what I was talking about when I said the arbitrary rules have an effect on the results as do the riders.    It will be difficult to detect what effect it has on results given the riders, but the implications should be fairly understood (though I doubt most do).  It would be like if factory Yamaha could ask Dorna to suspend the fuel regs just for them, ala the rookie rule, so that they could get a head start on next year's champion.

Has there been any notification as to how many times the CRT option tyre was actually taken up by a CRT bike?

I don't get why you're mad about this one. It's Ducati being smart and they'll learn a ton I'm sure. The whole thing is transparent and we've known about this for months. And any team that wants to run a spec ECU can do it. Factory Yamaha could and it would be well within the rules.
