Sometimes I think these newbs first day on earth is the day they logged into here. Have they ever seen twitter or youtube comments?

Conversely, one wonders if some folks here can't discern that this is neither of those. Moreover, one wonders if some here have ever enjoyed the company of a group of people who passionately debate, while treating each other with respect and tolerance for differing opinions; without the need to inject irrelevant nonsense into every dialog, without the constant insults and potty humor, without engendering bickering in every thread.

Your new here and seem to spend more time bitching about others content while rarely adding any of your own. Everything your whining about has been whined about ad nauseum the last 10 years. Take a look at the meetup thread. Most of the people that have a few thousand posts to their name, have met up, debated differing opinions, and told potty jokes.
Pull the stick out Wally. As another established member once said, " the forum does what the forum does"

Max was easy to dislike. Too easy. He wasn't a gracious loser and that stupid goatee made him look like a tiny comic book villain. But fact is - he was a really talented racer. We all of us - hold them up to a very high bar when it comes to off track behavior, but in the end, they're just flawed human beings who work and sacrifice so much for the dream of winning. I totally relate to that feeling of, "It's my time to rise to the top". Just human nature. Since leaving MotoGp - I've heard so many great things about Max and I can't help but have a kind of soft spot for him.

As much as he was disliked by many because of how he came across I've always liked him as a racer. Anyone at the level is exceptional and he was at the very pointy end of that bunch. The bickering, taunting and hatred between Max and Vale helped fuel some of the best and most entertaining racing I've ever witnessed, neither of them would give the other an inch.

Loved the comment about his goatee .... he had that villain look down pat.

As a massive Doohan fan, I was predisposed at the time to dislike Max and hence to buy into the Rossi side of the narrative regarding him and Rossi.

I actually went back and looked at the most controversial incident, when Max elbowed him, a few years ago with a different bias and am now not sure Max actually had anywhere to go with a wall of bikes outside him; perhaps it was a dress rehearsal for the Gibernau pass on an opponent already consigned to villainy by Valentino and his acolytes, and there have been other (admittedly rare) impossible inside moves as well, mostly also on opponents previously cast as villains in the show.

Max certainly did whinge a lot in the premier class, but was obviously a great 250 rider, and I enjoyed following him in his WSBK career, particularly at Aprilia.

That's an arrogant statement buddy. Are you trying to turn this place into a Theocracy?

Whatever for, I've read load of your posts and not said anything before, but you strike me as the sort of person who likes to rub people up the wrong way.

I've never really followed the WSBK as closely as I do the GP but I'm glad he didn't finish up racing when he left GP and that his hard work paid off with some additional championships. Loved that victory wheel stand he saved from going over ... had many friends flip their RGV250's trying to emulate it.

Save yer breath mate. Trolls are impervious to insults, reason, logic etc. I forget that myself from time to time and make the mistake of replying to them, which only encourages them. It's like using science, math and history to make a point with Trump supporters; a waste of time. If everybody would just ignore them - they'd fade away.

This is a big year for Jack Miller being the last year of his HRC contract, from the Phillip Island test he already sounds more confident in the bike compared to previous seasons which is great and fingers crossed he has a really great season. But even if he has the best season of his career with a really strong finish where will he be able to go thats a considerable step up from MarcVDS, most of the good rides all have contracts until the end of 2018? Maybe Cal's seat at LCR if Cal has a horror season or possibly one of the Tech3 seats if Folger or Zarco don't work out (which is highly doubtful). Unless there is something I'm missing his only other options would be a Ducati ride with either Aspar, Avatina or Pramac? If thats the case then he is probably better off just staying with MarcVDS for another season if they'll have him and hope to get some extra HRC support ... hope for a good offer in 2019 maybe.

Trying to start a flame war again aren't you. It's in your DNA to sow discord. Who's the troll Keshav? Once again I've left you alone and you start taking your shots.
It's laughable that you called me a troll when every single flame war in this forum has been started by you.
For the record for those of you that don't know, Keshav is the only person in the history of this forum who has met up with multiple members and made enemies with them. He's destroyed friendships among members and driven the sites top poster away for good.
Lil Walter, you talked about civility and respect. This cretin has shown in a real world setting that he's incapable of either. He's a miserable old man that thrives in looking down and judging others. Typical NY wannabe elitist that is angry at the world because they don't share his ideals.
Always lecturing and admonishing others like he's the pillar of morality. He reminds me of those mega church preachers who spout Jesus principles on Sunday and diddle coked up hookers on Monday. Keshav your a hollow and sick human being that may fool the newbies with your peace moniker, but everyone else knows what a fraud you are

I've made no reference to JKD. Just talking about trolls in general. Make of it what you will.

Typical response from you. Always crying innocence. No one here is that dumb Keshav. You don't even have the balls to back up your obvious trolling.
I'm done. I have nothing more to say. Just wanted to point out once again your rampant hypocrisy

Speaking of hypocrisy, there are some who might consider this post A little self righteous in itself.

You seem to have succeeded in irritating nearly everyone who has been posting on this thread in recent days. I don't think it is too far fetched to surmise that this might actually have been your object, and certainly in the process of doing so you yourself sat in judgement of most of those posters.

If that is what floats your boat, it is fine with me, but surely it can hardly be a surprise to you if some choose to come back at you.

Well my good friends Jps, Theo, Heisenberg and others never had an agreement with me to ignore each other as to avoid forum meltdown. Your well aware of past trifles and treaties. Hypocrisy would be reneging of that deal.
Im on to Cincinnati, now back on topic. What were we discussing? Max's facial hair? Personally I was always thought it was awesome that he could ride a gp bike and play guitar for Janes addiction. I did like the early days when he sported dreads better than the facial hair. The dreads had a back alley drug deal gone bad vibe, while the facial hair days was too metrosexual, alt, glam rock.
