As far as i know, Ant didn't undertake any pre-season testing at P.I earlier in the year and had only done 8 races leading up to P.I compared to Casey and Chris' full seasons in 2006 and 15 races for 2007..

Look, I wont speak for CV, but i think Ant might, just may, still be learning his trade, dont you?

Lets wait and see what his result at P.I is next year and then you can make all the arm-chair expert observations you want

you say lets wait an see him at pi next year ! in other words give him another chance. Why, because he is young ? when checa, barros or capi put in a bad performance you are of the first to scream ditch them if im not mistaken yet all of the above are way ahead in the points table.
i have not got anything against west but i just dont think he is motogp caliber.

I dont recall bagging Barros or Checa this year, ive had a go at Capirossi at one stage or another, but he's well and truly pulled his finger out, getting results that he should have been achieving alll year

Anyways, Barros and Checa have been in GP's for what, 15-20 years? West has been in GP for.. less than half a year? You really suck arse at these comparisons Rog... Sheesh.. Maybe it's you who's the unreasonable fool..

mabe your still a bit pissed that ant has been totally owned by the "old past it " riders. his best result was 9 pts. you must admit ,he doesn't really deserve a factory ride in the prem series or are you really that deluded.

If he didn't deserve to be there, then he wouldn't be there.. Its as simple as that!

The cards fell his way in getting the initial test, sure, but he's impressed the right people enough to get another year and i say good on him..

Here's how you do a comparison Rog; you can't say Chaz Davies 'deserved' a chance at Laguna (using your method of judging by 'winning something substantial') but he got one, didnt he? You were chirpy and happy about that and im sure if he got a ride for 08, you wouldn't he saying how 'undeserving' he is.. Keep trying...

i will hild my judgment on chaz until the end of next season. of course i was glad i got a ride because he is british but if he puts in crap performances like west i will say he is not up to it as well.

Chaz qualified 18th for P.I ahem .. West hasnt qualified that low EVER.. yet .. Anyway, I think his performances have been serviceable and respectable.. His team and team management seem to agree.. You cant argue with that..

we were talking about west i thought, why have you bought chaz into the dedate ? he has only had one go on the d'antin so hardly fair comparison.
i have not said chaz is good or bad, only time will tell, what i did say is ant does not deserve a factory ride imo. try to pat attention mate. and stop twisting debates to confuse the original point.
and i think its more his team cant get anybody else within there budget more than being impressed with west.

Dont u remember, senility kicking in? Chaz was brought up when we were discussing 'deserving' being in GP.. Chaz has done a helluva lot less than the 'jack ....' Ant has done.. I didnt twist anything..

how many motogp races has chaz done compared to ant, again you bring in chaz to disguise ants poor show,so you are twisting facts to suit yourself again.
you brought chaz into the debate because you couldnt think of anyone else to compare ant to, pretty sad cos chaz has only had 1 motogp start rather proves my point that west is out of his depth like you
