Bet and win have just posted their odds for next years chamionship

Valentino Rossi (ITA/Yamaha) 2.20
Casey Stoner (AUS/Ducati) 2.50
Dani Pedrosa (ESP/Honda) 7.00
Marco Melandri (ITA/Ducati) 9.00
Jorge Lorenzo (ESP/Yamaha) 18.00
Nicky Hayden (USA/Honda) 28.00
John Hopkins (USA/Kawasaki) 35.00
Loris Capirossi (ITA/Suzuki) 35.00
Chris Vermeulen (AUS/Suzuki) 35.00
Anthony West (AUS/Kawasaki) 101.00
Andrea Dovizioso (ITA/Honda) 201.00
Alex de Angelis (RSM/Honda) 251.00
James Toseland (GBR/Yamaha) 401.00
Shinya Nakano (JPN/Honda) 401.00
Randy de Puniet (FRA/Honda) 401.00
Sylvain Guintoli (FRA/Ducati) 501.00
Toni Elias (ESP/Ducati) 501.00
Colin Edwards (USA/Yamaha) 501.00

I put €1 on Stoner at 80/1 this time last year.
Any thoughts on where the good value bet is this year?
I'm thinking Vermeulen at 35/1 might be have a good outside chance.

Not that I think it would go in, but if I should make a high odds bet this would be the one:

Andrea Dovizioso (ITA/Honda) 201.00

so the bookies are favoring rossi over stoner
<
pedro could be worth a £5 bet

- CV, Hopper, and Capirossi at 35/1 are all interesting...

- Lorenzo at 18/1 is tempting at £50 or more...

What are the lines on Rookie of Year?

I agree ... might have a few aussie dollars on CV!

Dani at 7.00 looks like value.

Good now...but following the late Jan tests it will go down to less than 5.00 so gets your bets in now.

Yeah looks the value bet to me too.
Rossi and Stoner's odds are pretty pathetic considering the season hasn't even started yet.

At 35/1 I'd rather throw my money at Loris.
If I were to throw any at a rookie it would be Dovi nor Lorenzo.

Dani at 7 really sounds like it's worth a try. If Michelin get theirs acts together next season and make the better tires, who is gonna be able to beat him? Oh, and 2 or 3€ on Dovi of course.

Maybe rossi or stoner, but they are not value at their current odds.

Dani is down to 6.50
Melandri up to 9.25

Which kinda makes sense, Dani at 7 was a bargain and Melandri has been sucking so much lately in testing I'm surprise it's still so low.

I would wait to see if Michelin is any good next year, cause if Bstone has the upper hand then either Rossi or Casey will win it and there is NO smart bet.

Judging by the last test, i.e 7 honda's in the top ten, my money would be firmly on either Pedrosa or Hayden, or De Angelis for a real outside bet, especially for those prices. Stoner's going to have to really work hard this year if he wants to retain the title.

I like the optimism, but that is making the glass really really full!

Rossi favourite? What a joke!

I'll put money on Dani for sure with De Puniet and Hopper being good bets aswell.

JT, 401-1 eh?

If I put a quid down, it'd be a nice return.

Rookie of the year bets anywhere?
