It is also mentioned that rossi is now blaming Yamaha for the woefullness of their GP situation. Despite it being glaringly obvious that rossi is a non-contender amongst contenders.

Records are there to be broken and it shows what agreat record Ago has when it has stood for so long. Still a long way before his number of premier titles is close to tumbling.

As for Rossi now blaming Yamaha engineers. I thought he was supposed to be the development god. Have yamaha all of a sudden taken Ducati's approach of ignoring what he says??
Rossi wasn't long in sacking Burgess and now wants the same with Yamaha engineers that have done him ok over the years, and even had the early 2017 bike winning races until someone complained.

This could get very interesting. I wonder how long Yamaha will put up with it. What's the point in having an ambassador for the brand like Rossi is and they're hoping he will be into retirement if he trashed your brand and wants people to be fired when things don't go his way? How badly will he trash Yamaha if his team doesn't get full factory support? His actions and behaviour have caused them to lose one triple world champion, they may have caused the total derailment of another world championship charge this year. Keeping him around may mean they lose another potential championship threat when/if Zarco signs to a factory team. Rossi doesn't seem like the kind of guy who if he's told his contract won't be renewed will take it well so I just don't see them telling him there won't be a contract renewal.

You people do know that you’re reading a lot into what was not written right?

When factories see an underperforming rider, they criticize him. E.g. Sam Lowes.
When a capable rider is let down by machinery, he will ask them to do better.crutchlow did that a thousand times with the screamer RCV and he isn’t even close to the caliber of Rossi.

You people act like Rossi is asking for their heads. He isn’t.

Btw it’s not even a single article. Crash is doing a bit of link whoring and the part about Ago has nothing to do with the part about Rossi and he certainly isn’t talking about Marquez being better than Rossi.

Asking to CHANGE SOMEONE is to ask to physically change the people involved.

Yes, change in means the same.
Demanded TO change the team implies that the actual people are to be changed.

He is also quoted as saying "They are worried about the same as me" or something on the likes. You don't say that about people you want out of your team.

The English language is very nuanced. It is good to understand these distinctions before embarking in the usual "sky is falling" routine.

I understand the distinctions just fine. Change in team is commonly used to mean the personnel are different.
