It is and until something is confirmed by multiple REPUTABLE media outlets, this kind of stuff SHOULD NOT BE ....... SPREAD...especially here of all places where the intelligence level runs a little higher than the rest of the ....... internet.

Nicky is in fact on life support as confirmed below. Im not an optimist by flawed nature, but my hope burns eternal until we know otherwise. He's on life support. Turns out he wasn't in an induced coma. Nor riding in a group. And to make this whole situation more excruciatingly painful, some ....... posted Nicky had passed away, probably as click bait for some ....... website, hence why Earl had to dispell the fake news. The human species is ....... That's actually what set Nicky Hayden distinctly and quite understatedly apart, it's what we all recognize, and it's why all of us here are expressing our positive hopes.

I'm scrambling to find the link I read earlier at work. Whilst the news isn't as significant as we all desperately want, its something to give us hope. Little brain activity but he's showing a pain response so his basic reflexes are there which is a seemingly small, yet huge step. Nicky is in there somewhere and he's fighting!
It's progress and thus, we should all hold some optimism. It's a glimmer of hope and that's what we should all be focussing on right now.

Honestly still hasn't sunk in for me yet. I'm always really skeptical about the media sensationalising any story they can for all its worth. But if the legitimate sourced stories/rumours are even half true that he is on life support ... with possible brain damage, then thats just seriously seriously ...... up!
Really praying for him and for his family. What sick cruel fate/irony life can dish out ... when you compete and succeed in one of the most dangerous sports on the planet, and for so long ... only to have some drongo in a car run you down when you are out training on a pushbike. Its just not right ....
Those fake news sites make me ....... sick, Someone should post a 'fake' story about the 'fake news story guy' getting his front teeth kicked in by a Nicky fan ...

But even 'Speedweek' can't be trusted (I speak German).
They give no source for their information about the 'pain response test'.
And because they also state that several eyewitnesses apparently seen the car speeding when all evidence in my eyes (I could elaborate but...) shows it wasn't (waiting for the police investigation to finish to confirm my theory). A publication that throws out accusation without proof is not one I would trust.
