Morning everybody !
Just found this gem of a site and though you guys may be able to help...
Our family are preparing for a trip in our motorhome next year though Switzerland and down to Mugello in time for the MotoGP
I am after some information from those that have been or even better some local residents (tried to pm Motrix450 but function does not work for me) for some general info to assist in our holiday planning
It would appear from my research that the Poggio Secco Grandstand may be the place to watch from. Being a big Rossi fan it would appear that this is the centre of the Rossi Fan Club area.
The atmosphere would be brilliant to experience
Questions really are
1 - Is Poggio Secco the place to watch from if you are a Vale fan ( unless of course he signs for Ducati over the winter, and so the Duke stand would be the place to be ) ? If so have you a link to a grandstand ticket outlet. Any idea of cost GBP ? Booking through an all inclusive web-site is not really an option and sadly my lack of ability to translate Italian web sites doesn't help.
2 - Can you buy grandstand tickets just for the Sunday ?
3 - What's the chances of getting near to the track with a motorhome on race day. We have a dog and so my wife will need to drop me off presumeably before we get inside the track. Don't mind a bit of a walk especially as it would be good to get some of the atmosphere on the way in
4 - How long would you estimate it would take to get out at the end of race day to a pick up point. Need to book my Wife in for a taxi collection
5 - Any nice places to park up for the night nearby ?
6 - Best place for some pre-raceday atmosphere the day/night before. Bearing in mind we will have a 1 year old boy and dog with us ( long shot this one )
Any info greatly received, and I look forward to joining in on the multitude of other threads
Thanks in advance
