Personally, I reckon it rains to much in Sepang and is to damn humid, we need to move the race to another time where it suits the over 30's better :p

video of MM, Dovi, Cal and P. Esparagaro taking on 15.

It's not as bad as A. Espargaro saw it.

You both have good points. Like Jum said, Jarvis is not saying Rossi is dillusional, just that he shouldn't have said anything. What he is saying and I said at the time, is that Rossi failed miserably to read and understand his opponent. Anyone who really follows this sport knows , Marquez is the new alpha male of GP in every sense, and his reaction to having his integrity thrown into disrepute was not to slink off to a corner and pout. Jarvis is telling Rossi he has met his match and will have to resort flat out racing to overcome Marquez .

Scooters have been banned from track use...someone crashed on Thursday. Seriously? Who gave them a licence?

Via MCN

Crutchlow needs to send his missus back to the Isle of Man....every time she turns up with that screaming kid he bites the dust........

The Suzuki's look so strong, they did against the Ducati's at PI last week as well. If they lose their concession next year but make some more improvements they might surprise everybody.

Be great to see Vinales on the Yamaha next season to see how good/bad the Suzuki's actually are.

Suzuki already lost their concessions last round because of MV's podium.

Another podium finish for Maverick Vinales at Phillip Island means Suzuki will now lose access to the MotoGP technical concessions.

The concessions - which allow nine instead seven engine changes, no engine development freeze and unlimited testing with race riders - last until a manufacturer achieves six concession points.

Concession points are awarded as follows; 3 points for 1st place, 2 for 2nd and 1 for 3rd - meaning Suzuki has now reached six points on Vinales' results alone:

Le Mans: 3rd = 1 point
Silverstone: 1st = 3 points
Motegi: 3rd = 1 point
Phillip Island: 3rd = 1 point

Then MotoGP rules state that once six concession points are reached, unlimited testing is immediately cancelled. The extra engine changes and exemption from the engine development freeze are then lost from the start of the following season.

Due to their past results Honda, Yamaha and Ducati already compete without any concessions. Suzuki's success means that only Aprilia and new manufacturer KTM will qualify for concessions next season.

Vinales is moving to the Factory Yamaha team in 2017.

I did hear that they recently lost their concessions but didn't really think it would impact them so much now being so close to the end of the season compared to how it would if they lost them very early in the season.

Truth is, it likely doesn't impact them as they get to keep their engine concessions as this late in the season they would not have likely had any testing planned (this actually falls into my post elsewhere that I reserve judgement until they compete on a true level platform)

Comparison of rider lines thru T15

May be useless to some and interesting to others but here is a small video of the comparison of lines through t15

I saw that earlier today, found it interesting in how different each riders lines are through 15. Wonder how many riders will become unstuck when they try to make a move on somebody and take a different line they aren't as familiar with.

Good job by Lorenzo to qualify on the front row in wet conditions.

Where do I apply or who do I have to kill for this job?

Hm...our commentator pair does it almost everytime they are at the circuit. One of them is a licenced rider, the other one I've no idea...they call it BMW lap. According to them they were the first ones to do it and other (TV) "teams" followed.
So I guess the easy way is to go find a job as a comentating staff.

Today anyone can be a jurnalist anyway:)

Not surprising though, the old track surface was worn out and no grip, since it was resurfaced all the riders have praised the high grip which has carried through to wet conditions. Jorge has always been good with predictable grip, will be good in the race tomorrow in wet or dry.

True. The temp is also warm even though it's wet so that is probably another reason why he was able to find confidence.
