At least the events of the past few races settles one issue - Rossi doesn't receive favors from Dorna. If nothing else, it "legitimizes" Rossi's other few dozen titles.

What extraordinarily flawed logic. Any other rider would have been black flagged if they had done what Vale did at Sepang. That he uncharacteristically lost his composure, nothing else, cost him the title.

In spite of this, Vale did everything he could today and rode an admirable race. Had he have been crowned World Champion again I would have been delighted for him.

No acknowledgement or respect whatsoever for that ride from Jorge however from most of the the glory hunters. I've watched these ...., insufferable so called 'fans' that globally pollute this sport consistently heckle other riders, and this year, they sunk to a new low even before this shitstorm - which was entirely of Rossi's making -by cheering a fallen rider at Misano...a place that put one of the greatest of all time in a wheelchair for life, claimed the life of Tomi and is named after Marco Simoncelli.

Jorge ran a tenth of a second variable on ten laps of this race, his consistency was astonishing. You can't script or manufacture that. Like Valentino, he did what he had to do and I wish they could share the title. For those that seriously believe that Marquez was defying HRC directive and riding shotgun, seriously - seek help - and .... off while you're doing it. Thanks.

Strangely, no calls for an 'unwritten rule' this morning to favour this chap. This is called Moto3 by the way:

And that is why he defended JLo from Pedrosa so aggressively, to the point Pedrosa backed off to never try again?

Did you hear Dani's explanation for getting gapped? Do you believe him?
Or is he in on the whole conspiracy, too?

And that is why he defended JLo from Pedrosa so aggressively, to the point Pedrosa backed off to never try again?

In which he risked them both crashing out, handing the championship to Valentino. Two can play at reductio ad absurdum.

What brought all this on was Rossi's ridiculous claim about PI, which poisoned the well for the entire championship whatever may have transpired subsequently.

Now that this season has ended on a bad note for rossi, and marq probably is still angry about what happened in sepang .
I m afraid this .... will go onto the next season too. Anyone agrees ?

He is going to regret Sepang...

i highly doubt that as far as the race goes.

just watch the race once so it might be my imagination but did anyone notice his pass on pol espargaro?!! hard look and kinda way wide(ofcourse wasnt intentional,), but thats the way it goes in his mind,(like you have no reason to race me this hard and if you continue im gonna fk you up). imo he completely think he was justified in what he did to MM in sepang.

might regret the press before sepang tho.

ps, his next pass on aleix espargaro was a work of art.

I didn't have to type it out, it should have been obvious to anyone with 1/2 a brain what that comment implied. Reading between the lines is a requirement on faceless forums. It's understandable if you and some others lack this.

Rossi came second in the 2015 World Championship.
All you can now do is attempt to besmirch the value of that Championship.
Your choice.

Well said Arrab.

Watching Lorenzo's laptimes was astonishing.

You talk about performing like a metronome, he did it.

It's one of the greatest pressure performances I've ever seen in motorsports.

Think about this...the guy really needed to win to force the best possible scenario in his favor.

First he turned in that pole position lap that was half a second clear of MM.

Then he backs it up in the race under immense pressure, and being the first rider to ever win the title when trailing in the points battle coming into the final race.

Instead we've gotten nothing but the usual sour grapes from most fans who can't even comprehend that he put in the performance of the year. He's one of the best pressure riders out there.

Farewell Nicky.

Thanks for the memories.
Agreed, can't want to see him in WSBK!

Oh, an please remind everyone here again how many championships he's won? While you're at it, how many races has he won? And also please post how many championships you've won, your number of race wins?

I've won 5 championships, race wins I lost count at 100...

Rossi's pass on Pol didn't look to be that bad. The initial pass was clean, they simply came together on corner exit. I hope someone makes a gif of Rossi's pass on Aleix, it was beautiful... simply beautiful! I wonder what it looked like from Aleix's onboard camera.

Can't really agree. Vale wiuld have for sure been black flagged if this wasn't the penultimate race of the season. Had it been at Motegi, Misano or even PI he would have been black flagged. This is a business after all and with Valencia sold out, 120,000 people and fans everywhere expecting a title fight at the last race a black flag, was out of the question. You would have seen a requests for refunds and based on what I see in Euro soccer, even a possible riot. Dorna was left with little alternative from a business perspective but to late VR keep his points if he finished the race.

Nobody should care about riots. Rules go above everything. Rossi should have been blackflagged.

True enough. It kept him in with a shot.
The AE pass was superb. Pity he had no race pace from there. If he was catching the lead three once he had clear air, it would've been even more of a nailbiter.
