This is the new PC world we live in where everything is politically correct and .... talking and bad mouthing your opponents is banned.

I really would love to see Pedrosa decimate Marc and lower the kids morale this weekend. Or Lorenzo can do it, either way, that grin needs to go away. I think maybe it's stuck like that since he had that crash in Mugello? They said it ...... up his chin, so maybe that explains it. Or was he always permanently grinning?

welcome to the family.

you're awarded the position of capo

Yeah but don't let him know it just yet. I think Rossi said something like 'we need to .... him now or it will be too late'. It's too late for the old man but the other two can push him till he throws it into the stands.

I get that feeling, too. That is, they're waiting/hoping for him to take himself out.

Problem is he seems pretty solid on race day, no matter how many times he chucks it in practice.

i'm counting on pedro to do the job this time.

lorenzo to go into valencia with a 8 points lead and as long as the tyres are spec we should be good to go :)

557953 nothing is off topic around here buddy. Good question. Actually I tried finding the 00 season review once. I couldn't believe how difficult it was to find (should have been a few clicks away). I ended up getting it on VHS from some Brit co. Getting a GP from 83, haha good luck. I'd try to contact the national archive. (Btw ur member name sux balls). Welcome to the forum friend.

Yeah things that should be easy to find can be tricky sometimes, but usualy can get there in the end... yeah I wasnt really expecting a full race from 1983, Im pretty sure it would have been shown in full on NOS (Holland) but other broadcasts I dunno.... but somethings crop up, like the 79 British 500cc GP and a few others that ESPN Classic UK showed a few years ago so I mite have missed some others so thought would ask :)..... yeah username isnt great lol, used to be my phone number :p

You can hurt yourself chucking it in practice as easily as race day.  He has been a lucky boy so far.

...., Marc has only won on tracks with a bike advantage or when his competitors are throwing it down the road and breaking collarbones.

Dude, you are starting to sound like a Uccio. He beat everyone straight up at COTA, including Pedrosa, who is on the same bike and was uninjured at the time. Maybe, just maybe, his competitors are feeling the pressure of trying to match his speed, and are getting injured as a result. Marquez has done what Dani and Rossi couldnt do, take maximum points when they were offered up on a silver platter..

Dani isn't top tier, 8 years on the best bike with no championships.

Rossi is at the end of his string and has been .... all season, another one who has only had good results when others are chucking it down the road. Before Jlo broke his collarbone Rossi hadn't finished ahead of Jorge once in qualifying or a race.

Dani is top tier, probably the 3rd best rider in the world at the moment, and, 4 of those eight years, he was not on the best bike, even if it was made specifically for him. What you have to learn about Moto GP is, there are no unworthy wins, or championships. Some are more worthy than others though. Take last year for instance,Dorna ....... with tires, and had Stoner not gotten hurt, he more than likely would have beaten Lorenzo for the title. Some might even say 2010 was because Rossi got hurt. You see how easy it is to put an asterisk to championship seasons. IF, and its still a big IF, Marquez wins the title, in no way will it deserve an asterisk, unless that asterisk is for all of the rookie records he has and will set.

Nicky is ....... up by forcing the issue to stay in GP. A Wsbk title is 10x better than fighting for 11th- 21st positions in GP.

A BSB title is better than battling with Yonny, Laverty and Starring

I love Brno. Fun to be had all day long and all night long...and the beer is cheap

if Nicky gets a ride with LCR, he is going to be a strong podium contender.

Hollywood, as much as I like Nicky and wish that were true, it's just not going to happen.  Uncle Carmelo may get him on the Proddy Honda, but Honda isn't going to have it's customer bike smoking factory spec or satellite spec machinery in MotoGP.

No, I'm afraid Nick will be circulating and finishing about where he is now....truely sad but it's where Nicky wants to be...MotoGP.

Bradl has been on the podium this year, with several 4th and 5th place finishes, and was fastest today in practice.  surely Nicky is as good if not better then Bradl, why would anyone not expect similar (if not better) results with nicky on the bike?  either way, its still a better bike then the ducati.
