Thats like saying im more interested in the wrestling than the nationality of the participants in WWE. I dont deny they are "racing" in Moto3 as much as I wouldn't deny they are "wrestling" in WWE. But when ur discussing it, at least be aware of what u are watching.

If you're trying to make some sort of point there, you might want to try writing it so that we can actually work out what you're trying to say. Are you suggesting some sort of weird conspiracy theory? If so, which one?

My point wasnt that difficult to understand. No offense, but if u didnt understand it, well it would be a waste of time trying to explain it to u.

what's your problem, jum? of course moto3 is loaded with spaniards - there is a highly competitive spanish moto3 series that sends talenred riders up the ranks. you always complain there are no americans coming up. where should they come from? apart from your 'political' argument, which bears some thruth for sure, where should american talents emerge from? who gives a .... about aclub racibg series with rolling starts, stock bikes and cars parked on track in blind corners. the reason for the lack of american gp racers is to be largely in america, not spain. moto3 is a much more interesting class than it is given credit for.

I haven't purchased RoadRacing World in years, so my knowledge of US domestic competition is pathetic: Is there still a 125GP/Moto3 class worth anything over there? WERA? Other?

So Vinales lead in FP1 from Salom, starting to wonder if Rins is the bigger threat to Salom in the second part of the year

being at Brno, I found myself fascinated with Moto3 'packed riding' (even in practice) and, .... yeah, the sound! they're louder than MotoGP bikes, not joking. Rins looking strong there again btw, will be interesting to see if KTM will come up with orders for their teams as salom is their 'official' boy or if they let all just race on, not caring about the champ as long as he is riding an orange.

ok you've alluded a few times now that you haven't got the best taste but if you seriously judge the moto3 eardrum killers as good sounding....

Last weekend I attended an MRRDA round. Lots of 250 singles (NSFs, MDFs and someone whose Dad bought him a bloody KTM Moto3...for Junior racing FFS) which sounded crap. Thankfully, there were enough RS and TZ125s out there to counter the droning blatter.

I'm not convinced that you have any 'point' worth worrying about. There are a lot of Spaniards in Moto3. What you've failed to establish is that there is any reason anyone should be concerned about that.

I wouldn't think that KTM would be that concerned about which rider wins. And there's no way a rider of any other bike than a KTM would win. If it's the Red Bull Ajo team you're talking about, I haven't noticed any sign that Sissis is giving Salom an easier time than he should, and very sadly Zulfami is nowhere.

From a racing point of view, it would be reasonable is Sissis did give way to Salom later on when/if Sissis is mathematically out of the championship. However, I'll believe it when I see it. We did see Zulfami pushing Cortese very hard last year, and I don't believe the last minute passes were manufactured, but were simply because Cortese is a better tactician. (Similar to how Valentino Rossi in his heyday very often came out best in last lap scraps).

Can anyone imagine what would happen if Vinales was asked to let another ride win :)

well, watching the race today Sissis was quite obviously giving Salom (et al.) not too much of a hard time. a little bit unfortunate for my secret fav Rins for ending up 4th instead of 1st or 2nd (focused too much on passing Vinales I think and forgot about A. Marquez behind him). kudos for Folger for holding his nerve till the last lap, as I believe he showed the potential of the Kalex KTM today: on a good day running with the top group, but not strong enough to actively challenge the KTM-KTM riders. made the best out of it and played it smart.

you know you're watching a good race when the track announcer never gets the positions right cause they change so often while he is telling the audience about it :)

I was impressed that Miller was able to hold onto that KTM/Mahindra pack for as long as he did. Dropped back like a stone though. That performance gap must do your head in.

Here we are discussing the minutae of the RVC v the M1 and what that means we can assume of rider talent... and we have a feeder class that has ridiculous disparity.

Which for once isn't in Honda's favour

Very true. While there's some vicarious enjoyment seeing Honda getting beaten, it does make for a 2 tier series, which I don't think is great for a feeder class.

That said, on a semi-positive note, Miller being top Honda is probably doing his career more good than his than his 8th? place in the standings

maybe, just maybe, its time we admit that the glory 2 stroke days are over and that technical development in the smaller classes is both redundant and just undoable in the immediate and mid term future.

why not introduce spec bikes in moto2/3?

Miller and McPhee were on the softer rubber hence them dropping off the pace,

They were 2 secs a lap down towards the end.

Must have been like riding on treacle.

It will change with the new regs next year.

well, I was watching the rookies cup where they are going on de-tunes spec KTM Moto3 bikes, and it was great racing. but instead of dumbing the WC class down through spec bikes, they should maybe introduce a rev limit or other cost limiting factors in order to attract more manufscturers. AND there should be race replicas to buy for street use. I believe Kawa is selling tons of their 250 road ninja, so KTM and Honda should jump into this market with WC racing as a backing?! I think the major problem is that Honda sort of stopped developing or rather never started developing their Moto3 project once it was presented lat year while KTM is still heavily committed. And I think it would be very wrong to punish them for being committed.

It will change with the new regs next year.

are you referring to the rev limit thing in order to help Honda with their longer stroke that was talked about some months ago?
