Terrol was incredible this weekend, goes to show what a year of keeping up with Marquez (or trying to) does. I don't think he will have such an advantage all season long but i expect him to win a lot of races this year, i will be majorly surprised if he doesn't win the title. With Ajo and Aspar taking it in turns the last few years it makes sense too. It is easy to under rate Terrol, he lost last years world title by just 14 points, when he opted to sit out of the German GP because he was mindful of his back injury. A mature decision but he would most likely finished on the podium, probably even second. It would have made the last round more interesting, although in my opinion not changed the outcome. Anyway that doesnt matter anymore.

Who will finish 2nd? There is some tallent about, but i get the feeling most riders will be thinking about moto3 already.

I think we'll see lots of runaway victories by Terol this year. Already had him down for the title last year, but Marquez' all-or-nothing attidude worked out better in the end than Terol's more measured approach. Watch out for Folger, he's learning a bit more every race.

Folger looks impressive, I wouldn't rule him out for second. Terol I think will dominate the final year of 125cc.

Excellent race today, Terrol showed true class when faced with a strong challenge from his team mate and took another excellent win. He looks even better for the title now. Of the others there was a few typically hot headed crashes, but it can be forgiven slightly for the tough conditions. Amazing job by Kent and Taylor Mac, especially the latter. Solid rides by two guys with little experience who took a great opportunity to display their talents.

Agreed...its hard not to bet on terol for the championship

I can't see anyone getting anywhere near Terrol in the standings this year, he will lose a race at some point, but something seriously unfair will have to happen to stop him being champion. The other riders are putting on a decent enough show but you can't help but feel dampened by the fact they are fighting for less than the top of the class. I think in the grand scheme of things people will start thinking about next year sooner rather than later and try and get themselves noticed and into the best teams.

Its funny you just posted this, I was just going to comment on if any1 will be able to put up any kind of challenge to Terol this year. He just needs to keep riding consistent, and avoid injuries at all costs. If he can do that, he'll be world champ with plenty of rounds to spare.

I think we might see the most successful 125 season ever, records could fall. Terrol goes well at LeMans i think so i just wonder when he'll get beaten and who it'll be.

Besides the race in Catalunya where he crashed on the final lap, Nico Terol has finished ahead of Every single rider on the current 125 grid at every GP since Valencia 2009!!!!

Go Paris!!!!! Toby Moody's pre season tip for the championship comes good in only the kid's fourth GP. Superb and very composed. I'm not sure Terrol did too much wrong - I've seen much wider lines into Raccordement. The way Vinalez was poised to dart underneath him was brilliantly measured.

A legend is born?

What an excellent ride from Maverick Vinhales, just when I was wondering if anyone would beat terrol this year!

That was the sort of ride you expect from class veterans and championship contenders, not a 16 year-old in his fourth race. Stunning ride from Vinales.

Class ride from Maverick. Just shows how good the Spanish championship is.

It was going to be impressive when someone finally raised their game and took it to Terol, the fact that it was a rookie, in his 4th race, riding well above his qualifying pace and keeping a level head makes it simply incredible. One to watch for the future

Well the 20sec penalty for Zarco is a farce IMO.

What are race direction trying to do? ENCOURAGE RIDERS NOT TO RACE?

Fair enough simmo last time out was out of order, But that move by Zarco was a touch of class.

He lined it up out of penultimate corner and nailed Terol fair & square.

It was Terols own fault for leaving the door open for Zarco to go for.

MOTO GP is fast becoming a farce

Lets see what they can fix (that aint broken) in moto2.
