Monster Energy Grand Prix České republiky 2017

Actually - it fits all the requirements. No sharp edges, integrated into the forum, no moving parts.
Hmmm.....
"Integrated into the forum". I like this typo. ;-) Don't change it.

A. I don't think those edges are rounded at all. Round is like a circle, ya' know. ;-P
B. They look about as integrated as this stupid WRX winglet spoiler thing.
C. They may or may not move depending on whether Vespa Luigi did them on Friday after noon or not.

Maybe they plan to climb pikes peak with the desmo next.

Yamaha and honda have been using their own version of the shroud for a while now so this isn't that much of a surprise. I'm .... at posting photos, calling on gaz to post evidence.

Ask and ye shall receive :)

Suzuki

And Ducati

And by way of comparison we have Pramac v Factory

Now, tell me again why Ducati's is outside the rules (and pay particular attention to the Suzuki fairing).

All images are said to be 2017 fairing examples

Now, IMO only here but once again Ducati had led the way with their aerodynamic innovation and if it proves to work, watch the tears flow all the way to Uncle Caramello from the other factories, but expect the rule to be rewritten next season.

Its very ugly but good for them for getting this design approved by dorna for use. JLo had his fast lap removed for touching the green pavement at the end of the rumble strip or he would have been second row. It was instantly giving him more confidence.

Yamaha have messed up this year. ...

Yamaha is currently thee best package on the grid and has been so all year, with no sign of this changing; plus Rossi is getting his tires to boot. Why do you think "Yamaha" has messed up, because Viñalez is struggling to adapt to Rossi’s tires? Rossi is pretty much guaranteed a podium every race, and Manipulatichelin having the rest of the season to give Marquez a ........ "hard" 'medium' tire gamble every race, it's gonna be advantage Rossi's Yamaha tomorrow and every race here on out.

I find the ugly Duc bloody hilarious. It's Ducati showing Carmelo the middle finger, turning his precious farce into a freak show. I hope the rest are forced to get uglier just to keep up. Actually when the design inevitably gets banned I hope Ducati pull out altogether. They only really need one blue and yellow bike out there vs some grid filler crts for the show to go on. God I wish someone would set a real rival bike racing series, proper prototypes and a tire war to boot.

Someone has got to be talking Rossi tire conspiracy, no? The old fart is a crotch hair from pole. So much for crappy '17 Yamahas. Which if you look at the season so far is a silly concept. The Yamahas are doing pretty damn good when it isn't raining, and even that might not be all the bike's fault.

Well I think the rules were written okay. BUT, the safety sheriff has the last word and I believe Ducati did submitted this form before. I sort of remember it. Since the main concern was safety, it looks like they are allowing it in the "spirit of the ....... rules." Read the following. I don't think the Ducati things should be allowed by how I read the wording. What do you think?

Seeing as Capirossi is ex Ducati, I expect he'd nod anything through thats favourable to them.

Marquez and team look once again to have got it spot on. It was obvious he wanted to make a 3 or 4 lap dash and change quickly the soft did force his hand.

Since the mistake at PI the team has been spot on. Even this which started as a mistake worked in their favor. Rossi on the other hand continues to make the same mistakes in these conditions.

Just wanna say that the re-entries to the track have been frightening. All the hoo ha over phillip island those years ago in the nascar race. This is a disaster waiting to happen.
