Hey hey, stop insulting each other's intelligence, leave that to the professional Kesh.

Speaking of intelligence, what would compel an "intelligent" person to drop his birth name and take on such a sacred cow?

He had such a nice Christian name too

Would you say that insulting someones intelligence is being judgemental? I mean its not like a person chooses their intelligence, their born with it. To repeatedly insult others IQ would suggest a superiority complex.

Thats a sack of .... bro! When we are preforming a swan, a lutz or an axel lift, who's on top? You are dude, you are!

Frickin liar. That one time we performed The Iron Lotus, you were on top, oh and that time we did roofies I vaguely remember you on top

I don't like how you guys are ganging up on me. You should apologize.

Hey Krops, do you watch anything other than racing? Do you have any thoughts on soccer? I opened up a soccer thread in the Lounge. Can I interest you in that? (And no we are not talking FIFA or conspiracies, just soccer (well, trying to at least ).

I have the general assumption that soccer is for ........ Some of the players are skilled don't get me wrong, but most of them seem like pretty boys who care more about their haircut than you know, being manly.

Case in point? Laguna Seca 2007. Melandri had that huge crash on the Friday, dislocated his (gearchange) ankle, got a mild concussion and banged himself up pretty bad. Qualified 10th on Saturday and finished 3rd on Sunday.

Then I remnember hearing the same weekend all over the news that Steven Gerrard was out for 6 weeks with a fracture of his LITTLE toe. Oh your little tow is cruicial for a football player? Well I'm pretty sure a located gearchange ankle and not having your brain get intimate with your skull is pretty important for a MotoGP racer too.

So like I say, ..........

Even facebook addicts have grown tired of the "Like" button.
Shall we abolish it?
Click "Like" below if you agree...! :)

Ur just jelly cause my like to post ratio is better than yours. Propagandhi pound for pound king,......!

Seriously tho, rather the like system than 100 quoted posts to express being d'accord

Totally agree J4. I rarely use it and feel like a prepubescent teen when I do.
Its no different then writing LOL or LMFAO.
I don't think we'll ever get rid of it. Even Arabbi has embraced it. When that happenned I knew end times were near. I fully expect to soon see cats and dolphins copulating on the side of the road.
What I do find interesting is how it highlights the forums cliqey nature. The same people only like each other's posts.
There are very few independent likers like LeviGiffet who actually like posts on content and not author
Then we have the forum grandpa. Nobody likes his posts but he's so desperate for likes that he quotes other people's posts, likes them, so they will like him back for quoting their post Kind of weird that a guy his age has the same infatuation with the like button as 13-year-old

Yes.

Would've hit the like button but why embrace something new and sensible. I've got as much hair as skiba and drive a diesel so I'm inclined to want to fit in with the old fart narrative of "young people do it. Must be bad".
I'd rather express my agreement or amusement, or even thanks via a single click than spam this place. Gotta look out for levis likes, somehow went past me that all of us got it wrong.

.... OFF

Well...originally the "like" button was introduced here on community suggestions. At the time, when Ben owned the forum, there were bandwidth problems. People would post pics and vids, then when it was quoted, all that content would be doubled, etc. So one suggestion was to create a "like" button. The idea being perhaps if you "liked" it, then you might not feel compelled to quote it. Everybody has their idea of how the feature should be used. Kesh for example uses the like button in hopes that the liked user will feel obligated to return the favor, and in this way he will feel liked. The problem is that when that hasn't worked, he will quote then state he 'liked' it. Perhaps imagining the user did not notice. Its part of his daily affirmation process.

Not ganging up if it's true MDub/Frick ;)

Its Frack mother ....... I would call you guys a gang but technically you need four to be a gang and I am sure you guys don't have a fourth friend. I think I can speak for everyone here plus your families and friends when I say, we wish you three were never born. You guys are a waste of space.

Frick & Frack, everyone has value here. You shouldn't feel that way just because Kesh belittled you. Its what he does. Makes him feel...well liked.
