i agree, but thats just our opinion not a fact

Alrighty then, go back a couple of seasons to Nicky Hayden's WC year and what do we find, Nicky developing a bike (well documented) , Pedrosa not so much, who won the championship? No matter whether Melandri is developing a bike or not there is no excuse for being at the back of the grid when your team mate is at the front. With the Hondas in 06 they were never far away from each other.

I think garry has been a race bike mechanic as I gather have you, so maybe he has an inside source, but I am not sure that everybody in the teams even really knows all the intricacies of what is going on, let alone is likely to reveal same.

Just wanted to add to this thread that MM didnt have a bad season in 2006 and 2007, i still think he is worth another ride with honda. suits his riding style a lot more.

Isn't Rog from Southhampton? Ah, that explains it now.

Yeah, but I think the bikes have changed significantly since then. The spokes on the wheels are no longer made of wood.

Rumours?? Just becasue Rog lives in an imaginary world doesn't mean its just an "opinion" or "rumours". There is plenty of evidence from riders talking about #1 and #2 riders status and development duties. Does anybody really believe "teammates" Edwards and Rossi were BOTH #1s, ever? hahaha. Please.

Little bit of moral support? Just like little Rog and his little friend Curve over on the other thread about invading Donnington, where yet again we see Roger's hatred of Stoner. Rog and his funny little friend who likes to put up funny little pictures just like he does when he goes to preschool. Can I have a crayon as well? We can draw pictures together.
Rog has friends because he is informed, respectful and rarely puts his foot in his mouth. Even if he is a fanboy.

Are you really comparing the Gresini Honda of 2006 with the LCR Honda of the same year? Honda were preparing to take the title fight to Rossi with Melandri that season. He got what he needed that season shortly after Dani and Nicky. Stoner's bike was left relatively unchanged the whole season, a prime reason why he left for Ducati (and who would turn down a factory Ducati ride other than John Hopkins?).

The same can be said for the Duc now....Stoner gets ANYTHING...Marco gets what they feel already works...vicious circle this debate don't you think?

Are you being funny, Hayden turned it down. If he hadn't where would Stoner be now? On his ride at HRC?

cheer's mate and the feeling is mutual although we dont get treated to your opinion as often as i would like these days.

as sat teams went gresini had a pretty good package taking marco to 4th in the championship but the lcr wasn't all that bad. after all it took stoner to 8th with i dnf and 6 retirement's so fast it was, the crashes are debatable as to whether it was bike or rider and no i dont want to debate it (please)

More layers than an onion.... And for the most part, we're all just guessing. Good, educated guesses based on knowledge past and present spoon-fed to us by riders, teams, and media, but nonetheless guesses.
