Haha, man you're lucky. I'm gonna have to try those net packages.

Question: Do those net packages give you feeds around the year with testing and off-season stuff? (Its a ghost town here in the US during the off-season.)

i think max is one of the best - yes does say wrong things at wrong times perhaps - but at least he says it - and also will try and win - unlike hayden who i also think will always try to a point - furthermore hayden for example at donny and other races must have been fuming with HRC - for sticking on test bits - but kept it shut - hence keeps his ride and eventually the title - next year i think the guy will be somewhat humilated as the defending champ, then i wonder if he will be like max in being critical of hrc in applying constant changes to the bike (but i guess it is their call in the end).

Max keeps his site upto date with stuff unlike many riders who post to the 'diary' every 3 months or so- he will do well in SBK - BUT will do better in 2008 when the Roman Emporer (spelt right ?) returns to Motogp.

And finally - bring on 07 season - bored already -!

I think Max has created too many enemies to go back to Motogp, unless it was maybe a smaller team, or a satellite team.

yeah i think most manufacturers would be to scared to hire him because of what he may say about there bikes and team. burning down bridge's in this sport is not a good idea

Yeah, got it in one there. I'm even going as far as superbikes for 2-3 years, I just don't believe anyone will want him back; If he does comeback he's very very lucky.

i doubt very seriously we'll ever see max back in gp's.like previously stated he's burned way to many bridges. i think he's gonna struggle in wsbk & he'll just eventually fade away. but we'll see.

I personally wouldn't write the man off - am pretty convinced he will return mainly for two reasons

1. Ability, Attitude etc is only one side of a teams agenda - I doubt that they have more than a 50% 'vote' on who rides for them - influence comes from suppliers, sponsors etc. Max is big business whether he is wanted by a team or not. If 6000 people turn up to watch him practice then cant say he aint high profile !

2. Suzuki is an interesting ride for him, if he does well I can see that the pressure will be on Hopper and Chris V - to be fair they have done quite well but even with the bad luck (Leguna) have not really delivered, I reckon Max will oust Hopper if he does well and John does not, also with a few million dollars in sponsorship behind him I cant see him not being back.

perhaps it will all depend on Ducati and if they link up with Rossi ... who knows but that is what makes motogp what it is - exciting !

I think that relies on a link between Rizla Suzuki MotoGP and Alistare Suzuki that dosen't really exist. In my opinion Max would be more likely to be able to get a ride on the Suzuki MotoGP squad through connections if he was riding for Crescent Suzuki in BSB, because as I understand it those two teams are linked by Paul Denning, whereas Alistare and Suzuki MotoGP are only really linked by Suzuki the badges on thier bikes. I could be wrong, but that's my take on it. Also, I belive the reason Max got the ride in the first pace (Aside from the fact that he's a talented MotoGP winner) is his strong connections with Batta at Alistare Suzuki. He'll stay there until a competitive MotoGP ride shows it's head, he manages to estrange himself from Batta as well, or he retires.
And I don't belive he'll be ousting Hopkins or Vermulen any time soon. They're both very talented, young riders. Denning will do all he can to hold on to them for as long as possible. Sure, they wern't the fastest this year, but the GSV is an absolute dog. Put Rossi on it and he wouldn't win races (Unless he brings Burgess, and they seriously whip the bike into shape like they did with the M1). Considering that CV scored a podium on the GSV, somthing that only a former world champion had previously done, and that they had to beg Hopper not to ditch them for Ducati, I think it's safe to say they've delivered. The thing that's not delivering is the blue pig between their legs.
as for Ducati, that's an intresting option. Max has burned a lot of bridges, but has he done anything to piss Ducati off? If he has, I can't remember it. Then again, Ducati are on the hunt for younger riders, they only seem to hire older riders (apart from Loris) as caretakers for a year while they look for some young gun, and Max is no spring chicken.

Good point, but I still see Rizla being not too keen on hiring Biaggi. It's not the fact that he's annoyed individual teams, the others are going to think what happened too Honda, and that makes it even harder for him too sign in GP's again.

You may be right - that is the beauty of it - but on Denning - not one to suffer fools for long !- BSB squad well shaken for 07 - they did not preform so out they went (riders, management and consultants) - will be the same at Motogp Level - if Hopper and Cv not in top 10 by end of season - suspect they will be looking elsewhere for employment, then that may just leave a opening for max and or yukio perhaps.

Max the pirate...he was a character thats all.

Would be fun to see him back in GP, but his testing times on the Alstare Susuckie seems promising in WSB, maybe he will do well in 07 who knows? Good luck to him.

Well Melandri keeps his online diary pretty updated too. Whenever the English version is late, that's my fault. But hey! Sometimes I'm just too busy. There, now I'm feeling all guilty cos I'm like 2 entries backwards or something.

gonna have to find sometime to check his stuff out - as started to look at selling some of his gear next year, getting popular is the lad, hope he can keep in the mix next season.
