Marquez Beer goggles

Ahhh, you have yet to understand the twisted, irreverent sense of humour of Mr Prop!! :D

Humor? Like I'm a funny guy?
You mean, let me understand this cause, ya know maybe it's me, I'm a little ...... up maybe, but I'm funny how, I mean funny like I'm a clown, I amuse you? I make you laugh, I'm here to ......' amuse you? What do you mean funny, funny how? How am I funny?

"I am not amused." :spin::p^_^B):1::band1:

It was revenge for Dani Pedrosa, and a lot of other things. And there was nothing that we could do about it. Pedrosa was a Puig rider and Marquez wasn't. And we had to sit still and take it. It was among the Spanish. It was real conquistador ..... They even broke Marquez arm so that his mother couldn't play tennis with him

If Johnnie Knockworst and Drub Stylish were this funny, they'd still be here.

I think he was intimating Michelin tyres and a Magneti Marelli ECU would be less than successful in a direct comparison with Bridgestone and a Japanese ECU

Being that Bridgestone has been away for awhile and no Japanese ECU since spec started. The Europeans would have somewhat of a head start. :D

The problem is, Bridgestone ain't interested.

While it's true enough that Michelin isn't capable of matching Bridgestone's quality control, the situation is doubtless exacerbated by Dorna's decision to go from a 17 race season to 21. Can't help wondering how that's affecting the riders.

They'd be so far behind they'd think they're leading.
Forget about it.

I was told that he will miss at least the next two, and quite possiby more than just those.
Maybe that's a good thing. Not saying there's anything wrong with crashing 5 times per weekend to find the limit. But maybe a little cool down period/admitting defeat for this championship will do wonders for his approach long term.

Argentina and the US round I heard. Diplopia said to be improving though. Not sure he should continue to risk it myself.

I have little sympathy for Puig in almost any circumstance, but the Michelin guy calling out Honda for adapting poorly in Indonesia seems to have overlooked career threatening consequences from them reverting to a 4 year old tire for one of the very greatest, no doubt with a considerable contribution from MM’s own impetuosity. The tire the bike was designed for, as is the way of things now, performed well in testing at the circuit, and the 2018 bike quite likely would have been good on the 2018 tire. I am not sure what exactly he expected Honda to do. MM would have been a fair chance on rain tires without the warm-up crash. Sure pushing so hard in the warm up that he crashed twice in a row is possibly not the best strategy given MM’s travails of recent years.

Simon Andrews was the same sadly. A popular rider in BSB and road racing. He kept having bigger and bigger accidents and I thought after his huge crash at Snetterston BSB in 2011 when he broke his leg and was millimeters away from getting crushed by his bike that he should call it a day.
He didn't and died in the NW200 in 2014.

Don't youtube it, It's a ....... horrific crash.
