PS, go back and read my first post. So I don't like Stoner....so what.....if people want to deride me for not supporting who they support (and then woose out and delete/change their posts) and sling insults....well .... them...I'll fire back. It is a democracy, you can dislike stoner all you want, as long as he is winning from my side of things it adds to the fun that he is pissing people off. Oddly most of his "whinging" is eventually proven to be factually correct in any case, or ascribed to just telling it like it is when engaged in by other riders.



I have to admit to being not unhappy initially about the inability of rossi and jb to fix the ducati in 80 seconds, but it has gone on long enough now and my current hope is that they can fix the thing in fairly short order (which they show signs of doing) as a full-on stoner-rossi battle would be great, particularly with the signs of open animosity this year.

Aside from the fact that I really like the way he grabs the bike by the balls & sqeezes them until it does what he wants, this is the other reason I find him so entertaining. Instead of pandering to Rossi or Dorna, as others have done before him, he is willing to speak his mind & throw the cat amongst the pigeons regardless of who it offends or upsets. He has been labelled a whinger because of it but I don't think he really give a rats arse what others think.

Gasset blahblahblah I find your posts straight and entertaining but mate the past is the past - I also recall watching the Gardner days and all the riders you mention but its Gooonnnne the new breed are very alien and soft cocks as we say (though I'd like to say Gardner was a whinning ...... imo) but we all have our opinions too right.

Don,t worry Michael, Talpa affirming Gassit is akin to moluscs preparing to spawn...............much froth and bubbles ( and perhaps even ......y) , but not a lot of thought going on. If either of them had as many neurones as you have in your left testicle , they would be in molusc heaven and preparing for the excitement of a synapse when they meet (something quite foreign to them in their current biological forms).

I was being mischievous, I am actually glad you are still here, and fred gassit is fairly obviously not you, the prose style and preoccupations being rather different, if not the knowledge of bike racing history (btw I am saying you both have this), and the sense of humour being greater. In my defence I will say that I have continued to post regularly on here for 5 years regardless of whether stoner was doing badly or not, but on the other hand as even further indication of my patriarchal/patronising nature perhaps oddly I don't actually feel a great need to have my intelligence validated by forum opinion.



The fact of the matter is that stoner, cockhead or not, is rather vehemently demonstrating that nearly everything said by his opponents, whether in regard to his previous success or relative failure, was wrong. If he is really annoying the likes of you and fred gassit whilst so doing, so much the better. He will never sustain a rossi level of performance over as long a period as rossi has done and which rossi may well still extend further in the future, but he is still pretty damn good.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Nicky is riding as well as he ever has ( well better than the lack of giving a .... and arse reaming Honda gave him), and your statement is making excuses for him that he's not even claiming. He's said he's happier than he's been in a long time ( press release and TV)

Franco Uncini,Carlos Lavado, Mike Baldwin,Rob mcelnae, Rocket Ron Haslam, Pier Francesco Chilli, Johny wickstrom,Anton Mang....and guess what, Fausto Gresini used to ride, not just manage/run a team !!! amazing hey!.............I think Sito Pons was riding 250's then as well....but my memories not what it used to be.....



But those were the days when Mamola used to ride for Roberts, not double people on the back of a Duck.

Secondly - that you should contrive to blindly strike out with such an unfounded, long-winded, scattershot insult against the most respectful, even-tempered, fair and objective member on the forum, is only evidence of the skin-peeling distress you're experiencing as a result of all our predictions coming true re: the egg-on-face scenario that Rossi has self-scripted for the 2011 season. Losing your religion must be tough. You're clearly beginning to take on martyr-like dimensions (or is that dementia?), in the wake of mediocre results of your fallen hero. Needing another yellow-visioned blowhard to feel good about yourself is sadly the very heart of your problem, and by extension, the deficiency of all the Boppers (ahhh feels good not having used that word in months), which is; your self-esteem always hinges vicariously on the accomplishments of someone other than yourself. Thank you, but to be fair I was the provocateur in this instance. My restraint failed me, as you imply the delicious thing at the moment is that the only avenue of attack on stoner is argumentum ad hominem, which only increases the satisfaction of it all

When rossi and jb eventually get the ducati going, which I am fairly sure they will do next year at least, hopefully we can all enjoy a great contest and one where at least stoner and rossi will have no basis for complaint about the resources available to them.

Yes, we get that. As I said, it makes things even better.



I actually didn't like lorenzo till this year, I think he is really showing his mettle on what is no longer the best bike and getting the absolute maximum out of it. The lack of opportunity for corny winning celebrations is perhaps helping my improved regard for him.



I have always liked spies and my interest in wsbk immediately dropped when he left. His performances on the bike are actually not speaking for themselves at the moment though particularly in comparison to jorge, but I agree are likely to do so for the rest of the season with absolutely no change in his demeanour.

True..........something about Lorenzo gets right up my nose though,.....which has nothing to do with ( for jeebus's sake...don't start you lot !!) his ability on a bike.



That whole flag planting thing makes me want to stink palm him.



Still.....if he's got the ability to ride like that....then it's my problem, and I have to let it go as you have.



Spies carries himself well..........not a whinge about second rate bits or Lozza getting preferential treatment. I can't see that changing either.



Same can be said of Crutchlow...........and maybe more than two established riders could learn from their decorum.



Still.....just my opinion.
