Because as usual you think anecdotal evidence carries the day. Your post was intended and implied to make it appear that because everything was fine in your section, that things must have been fine elsewhere. i.e.; Since everything looked fine in my section, it clearly contradicts your claim about armed guards in the paddock.

But this is also understandable due to your natural proclivity to suffer from myopia.

For example, if I went to certain coal mining towns in West Virginia that are filled with Donald Trump supporters, I could easily walk away with the impression that because support for Trump is so strong there, this must hold true for elsewhere in the country. This of course isn't actually true because I could go to say Berkley, CA where there would be no real support for Trump. For me to think that a town in West Virginia is a perfect representation of the rest of the United States is an anecdotal fallacy....much like your experience in one grand stand at Valencia.

Stop embarrassing yourself.
I cannot believe what an arrogant misguided tool I'm conversing with !

Jorge Lorenzo and Marc Marquez have been offered bodyguards for this weekend's Italian MotoGP at Mugello.

The usual move is the result of fan uproar following the conclusion of last year's world championship, when Italian hero Valentino Rossi accused Marquez of conspiring against him during the title battle with Lorenzo.

“Well in the paddock I don't know if it's necessary. Maybe outside the paddock?” commented reigning world champion Lorenzo, winner at Mugello in four of the past five seasons. “There are a lot of fans in Italy, and you never know how a fan can react. So the bodyguards are there and if we don't need them, it's okay. If we do need them, they are ready to work.”

However Repsol Honda's Marquez is firmly against the move.

“Honestly since I arrived here yesterday I feel ready good. The fans are just asking for pictures and autographs. This morning when I go out of the motorhome I see a bodyguard, and honestly I already said to Dorna that I don't need a bodyguard,” Marquez said.

“I don't want a bodyguard. I want to feel normal. This is [just] another circuit and I think we are in a sport where this will not happen. So I already told them that I don't need. Just I feel great and this is most important.”

Lorenzo and Marquez have frequently been booed by 'fans' in the five rounds so far this season. In Lorenzo's case he is likely to get a far warmer reception at Mugello next year, as a factory Ducati rider.

Lorenzo (Yamaha) leads this years championship by five points over Marquez, with Rossi (Yamaha twelve points from the top in third.

OMG guys! They hired bodyguards!!! Can you believe it?!? This is SOOO unheard of in professional sports with over passionate fans!!

It must be Rossi's fault it must be!

Get a grip, even my uncle who is a semi famous pianist gets a bodyguard when he does concerts abroad. So do thousands of celebrities on a daily basis.

First of all, it's disgraceful it's come to this over Rossi's McCarthyist accusations and the unwillingness for the sport's leadership to take any action to sanction him. Quite the contrary actually, his star has risen, boister by the perversion of it all, if that were possible.

However, I'd like to point out the particular COWARDICE of the MEDIA to take Rossi to task. At the press conference when Jorge & Marc were asked about the security measures, Rossi sat their in smug disregard to the reality, not one ....... "journalists" with any balls in attendance! The camera didn't pan for us to see the reaction of "journalist" because it's already understood, it's a non-issue. What? Security for two riders? Move along nothing to see here. All because Rossi incited his minons to mimic his own lead of turning his dastardly influence against fellow competitors, non-story.

Meanwhile there was more interest on Lin Jarvis' reaction and facial expressions making sure Lorenzo and Viñalez stayed on message when asked about moving from/to Yamaha.

Cowards: 1. Rossi, 2. Dorna, 3. Media, 4. Yamaha, 5. The Yellow Hordes.

Content Warning: Look ....... (.)(.)

Imagine if Rossi needed body guards, the universe would know.

Like I said before, he is the Armstrong of MotoGP. One day he will get found out.

Why did you exempt the umbrella girls from your list of cowards? Shouldn't you also be on the list for not taking your opinion to Rossi yourself? Buy a ticket + pit pass and give Valentino a peace of your mind. Instead you voice your opinion in walls of text on this small corner of the internet while calling GP personnel cowards because they don't share or don't voice your opinion for you.

Hahaha, bro you have no clue either.

He called Burgess out on his ........ to his face about the Ducati.

You would have pissed your pants like a little girl even thinking about doing something like that.

You know me well. I am terrified of men like Burgess and wouldn't dream of saying anything may anger him.

It's better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and prove it!

That's the best you can come up with? Really? How old are you?
Ah yes, the old "how old are you", very original. Did you come up with that all by yourself? Or do you walk around with it in the back pocket of your stone washed Jordache jeans?

Not yet, probably unsure of what to say since he is probably wondering if a .... reply might suddenly see a wild card announcement.

That would be the most exciting moment in sport since Shawn Michaels won the royal rumble from number 1.
