Everyone's laptimes would've decreased if it weren't for the spinning. Doesn't mean Lorenzo's times would've dropped lowered than Rossi's.
Not disputing it. The reported view from the tech team was that Rossi handled it better. But why is that relevant in establishing JL's demeanor?

Lorenzo had just taken 2.5 seconds back from Rossi when the spinning struck. He thought at that time he would've won if not for the wheelspin and said so. It was his opinion like it was Rossi's opinion today. Jorge gets branded as whining, where Rossi gets tea and sympathy. That's the issue.

Lorenzo didn't take 2.5 seconds from Rossi... Rossi gave him that time when he backed off to help save his tire. Rossi stayed in control of the gap back to Lorenzo.

U know rossi would have won the race if he wouldnt have retired.
I think Rossi was the most likely victor had he not suffered an engine failure. Seemed to have more pace than Jorge & Marquez. But the reality is he is now 37 points behind Jorge & 27 behind Marc. That's going to difficult to bridge & he will need luck to go his way.
But is he not allowed that opinion?
If he genuinely believes he could have won the race, than is he not entitled to make the comment?
Is it any different to Rossi's comment of today that he could have caught and passed Lorenzo were it not for the motor?

Rossi Gave, Lorenzo Took ............ either way the gap dropped and I am sure as .... sticks to a blanket that JL did not know that Rossi 'was backing off to save the tyre'
Rossi's alleged backing off may well have given Lorenzo the false perception that he could have caught and passed VR, just as perhaps JL was managing the race today when VR thought he could catch and pass

Yeah. But lorenzo was 20 something points after rossi after misano last year. And if u are into F1, u know what happened in 2007, how hamilton lost the wc and 2010 and 2012; how alonso was way ahead in the points and lost the title. Rossi looks amazing this season. Its far from over, even tho it looks hard.
Who needs F1 ............... I am a fan of Mick Doohan so no more needs to be said about losing from a good points lead

You think Rossi is done after round 6 of 18? Guess you feel he has been really slow and hopeless so far this season.

Rossi worked his way up to a ~2.8 second lead on Lorenzo and maintained it til lap 17. From lap 17 - 19 the gap dropped to about 2 seconds. Rossi puts the hammer down again on lap 20 and pushes the gap out to over 4 seconds by lap 26. Lorenzo was never going to catch up, Rossi had that race under control. I don't know where yamfan got that JL took 2.5 seconds out of Rossi. Unless he's talking about the final lap when Rossi slowed by 2 seconds as he secured victory.

Interestingly the argument you are debunking is similar to the one advanced by Rossi afflicionados as to why VR would have beaten JL at PI 2015 had MM not "interfered" by winning the race himself.
