I have liked him since he started making trouble in Moto2. I would luvs to see him get a win on the Tech3. It might be better than Cal winning, because I believe (correct me if I am wrong), that the LCR is closer to the Repsols, than the Tech3 is to the MovieStars. Regardless, I am sure glad he has a ride in MotoGP. He deserves a factory seat, imo.

Zarco has admitted that he was pushing hard, but attributes the problem to relaxing and letting off slightly which as we have seen so many times can catch you out. I am certain that he will podium this year and even win a few races during his tenure at T3. He's clever, he can race hard and the M1 is very conducive to his style. Not often I agree with Huewen, but it dd present the quandary that you wanted the rookie to win...but on the other hand, he's French. (Excuse the xenophobia and obligatory UK stereotypical view).

I have been a fan for a couple of years. Him beating Vinales and Rossi is just ....:
First it's with the '16, now with the '17. OMG, I can hardly wait till he beats them on the '18, too. I never believed the Vinales story. And Rossi eating crow, is well, just sweet sometimes. (No offense to you NICE Rossi fans.)

Crutchlow and Miller are the only ones who can make an impression with satellite machinery, and their stuff is the same year as the Repsol. The talent coming out of Moto2 is more suited for MotoGP than the 250s, imo. While we still have good racers, like JLo, Pedobot, and Rostifarian from the old school, those 600s with the same engines, really put the onus on the riders to outperform the average bear. Marquez and Zarco are excellent examples of the future of MotoGP.

Maybe we get too caught up in age, maybe the factories do as well. Doohan started in the 500s late was dominant into his 30s. There's no reason to believe Zarco can't continue strong form to the same age I feel he has the equipment and from what I understand there is no biological reason why other riders can't do as well.
