exactly, teamwork but only to a point.

That's true.He would surely be pissed off if he was beaten, yes.But he could help to develope the bike. And in 2007 when his teammate had become world champion Pedrosa was still the number one rider more or less.Or maybe he would prefer to do the developement work himself to be in control,i don't know.

well the good thing about team work is ,it allows you to blame someone else and dani did his share of blaming nicky for set up issues these past few years. i doubt dovi is anymore skilled than nicky in this area yet because of the amount of time he has spent on the 4 strokes. thats not forget he is still a rookie.

True but next year that he will no longer be. I hope if Dovi gets the ride he puts Dani to shame. If Dovi wins and .... doesn't that will be some funny .... and I would bet Honda will screw his bike up.

I'd be laughing too. Go Dovi!

I'm a big fan of Dovi aswell as Dani and I wouldn't be surprised at all if Dovi did beat Peddy in the championship next year but I am expecting both riders to be in title contention for the whole duration of the season.

The only reason would be that Dovi can't get as fast as Pedro's bike is cause Honda keeps him on a leash. I can easily see Dovi whippin up on Pedro.

Well if he's gonna be "whippin up on Pedro" then he's gonna be "whippin up" on every rider in the championship. Don't forget that before Dani's injury he was at the head of the championship and he was being predicted by many to be the GP champ this season.

I'm not doubting that Dovi will do it because he will definatly be challenging for the title next season but so will Dani, so we'll just have to wait and see what happens I suppose.

Sure he was leading the thing but not whippin up on .....

For small values of many? For Spanish values of many?

Pedrosa could ofcourse blame Dovisioso for set up issues but it's going to be harder to get away with it maybe.Every one knows pedrosa has more experience and Dovisioso will be on his second year.I think Pedrosa will be the #1 rider even if Dovi is 50 points ahead by mid season or something. He will maybe have more responsabillity,so to speak,in the team. But if Pedrosa gets injured and Dovi is the only one testing and so on ,he could always blame him for being inexperienced or something, and almost get away with it...

i already told you guys... Dovizioso is going to be the next Valentino Rossi. Just watch next year, he will be the only one to take it to Rossi. He may not be up to Rossi's level....BUT he will take over Moto GP when Rossi leaves.

Could be but I think once he learns how to speaka da englisha better it would be Marco Simoncelli.

i dont doubt dovi will fly on a factory bike and that he is a huge talent but its going to take more than winning next year before you can call him the next rossi

Stoner,Him and Lorenzo in that case, hopefully Kallio too.But yes he is a great tallent judging by the way he rode in 250.He had a clear disadvantage then.He is kind of fast this year too, despite disadvantages but in Repsol Honda team he has less excuses and more pressure to preform so we will see if that is the case.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (ROCKGOD01 @ Aug 21 2008, 07:32 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>Marco Simoncelli.
i've been thinkin the same thing about this kid since he was runnin in 125s.

And what does your crystal ball tell you about Stoner next year?

Agree. But Dovi has shown a lot of promise and for me it has started to become very comical that Pedrosa, who was suppose to the the 'great solution' has so far been the 'great delusion'.I wish there was a rule said you cant take on a number lower than your points standings at the end of a season. I'd love him to take on the number 3 (you know, Biaggi's number--the guy who was very good, let us know about it, came close, but no cigar). Then 4, then 5... For somebody with so much hype, he has been a wash. This at very least is one good reason to stay humble, because all the talk and hype is usually very hard to live up to and you become a laughing stock in the process. Rossi is not the most modest person in the world, but he's got the titles to back it up.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (Jumkie @ Aug 21 2008, 10:18 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}><div class='quotemain'>And what does your crystal ball tell you about Stoner next year?

Stoner is fast, THAT we can all agree on. BUT the guy is prone to breaking under pressure.... i just see it in his demeanor and how he carries himself. As oppose to Rossi who is like a kid, who takes on a challenge as if it was a game. NINJA TURTLES to the recsue. And no, i am not a Rossi fan.
