I'm no Rossi fan but seriously, this is pretty hard to watch...he deserves better.
16th with 10 minutes to go in the session. That's nothing shy of tragic.
Stoner is simply surgical out there today...comfortably the first under 1:39
So Stoner's got .5 on second place. That's ominous.
Man, you are an ...... Your one of the reasons I tend not to even post on these forums, with the amount of BS that's all over the place here.
indy a pretty terrible track to watch racing. there are no long flowing corners where riders can get full lean angles, its like there racing on a small cart track
Stoner is simply awesome, give him the crown now...
Gutted for Rossi, like Levi says, he deserves better. Got to wonder what this is doing to his confidence...
Stoner fucken whips that Hondas ... "...Awwwessssommmm"
1. Stoner by a mile min 20sec
The Rest :wallbash:Who Cares...there not in the same league as Stoner!!!
Hey Casey, u forgot ur angry wave at the squirrel, he just balked ur lap! Thats actually the first time i've seen the appearance of concern for another on-track participant during practice by Stoner.

Another thing to take away from today. Clearly as Hayden has alluded to several times, there are in fact no team orders at Ducati. This is not the first time this season that Nicky's team appears to have more cohesion and consistency than the 46 side of the garage. Rossi's team occasionally appears from the outside to be completely without purpose. Nicky has been consistent, slow but nonetheless consistent. Rossi has been awful at times. That should not be possible given the experience of his team. Why not simply lift Nicky's setup and hand it to Rossi's side? Clearly, the 69 bike is better setup than either of Rossi's machines?
hahaaaa how funny...ure an .....!!!

Well while you're crying about Rossi, poor Hayden is trying his heart out and only managing 8th. Make a list of all the Ducati riders, which one has a future? That... is TRAGIC.
Ducati suck ...! I'm on board, get that Yama-clone done in a hurry!
Stoner is the only "alien" and today again he showed us he is not of Earth. ...of course, then he opens his mouth, and we all realize he's a monkey. Hehehe
Spies was super consistent, a podium is his to lose.
Lorenzo pulled it out last minute, but is always strong in the race. He may be Spies' biggest problem.
Pedro will probably be leading the race by turn one, so at least the first lap will be interesting.
Edwards, is he trying to make a contract statement?
Btw, do you still think Aoyama will be last?
Oh, and I would like to add, Bautista looked to really be working hard on that bike, to bad it sucks.
Don't encourage Happy Feet.
Now you're talking my language.
But in Rossi's defense (and God knows I don't come to his aid very often), that crash in quali messed up his session. I think he was better than 14 today, and I'm willing to bet $5 he will be in top ten in warm up. He started off the weekend bad, but FP3 wasn't so bad. In the race, he will be top 10 as well.
Stoner awesome.
Would love to see Spies win the race.
Why does Rossi deserve better. He left Honda with bad blood. Threw down an ultimatum to Yamaha when they dared to give equal treatment. Disrespected Stoner and his team during their time at Ducati. Backed himself into a corner due to arrogance and had no where to go but Ducati where he thought he would prove to everyone that he was as good as Stoner. He is not and he has lost all of that confidence and arrogance that once made him great. I think he deserves everything he is getting. His result today was a result that reflects giving up and trying to throw all the responsibility and pressure back on Ducati. Lame I think.
Ok, fair enough. I can get on with all of that.
However, at this point, like him or his status, he's probably still the GOAT. He's been a large part of this sport for some time and there's no questioning his appeal and what that contributes to the bottom line in terms of viewership etc. Clearly, he's not a 14th place rider. This is an embarrassment for him and for Ducati. Basically, it's just undignified. I give him credit for not lashing out. He's been pretty dignified in his press encounters and I suspect that's not easy languishing as bad as he is.
As much for Ducati as for Rossi, I'd like to see the red bikes again challenging Goliath....
