In your opinion what was the best abd worst part of 2006

Has Valentino is God (In your opinion lol) met Jumkie yet?????

Pedrosa isn't stupid. Which is probably why he never rises to taunts from anyone who says so. If it makes you feel better to belittle the achievements of other riders so be it but not everyone is going to applaud you for it. Every rider on the motogp grid deserves to be there or they wouldn't be.........it's not like the grid is short of people wantiing to be on it. Pedrosa's mistake only made the end of the season a little more nailbiting than it already was and the incident will be remembered moreso than Elias actually riding the race of his life and basically beating your so called GOD!!!! But it ain't a personality contest is it at the end of the day.......thank god. The thread was about best and worst moments though, it's always going to be a bit of a flame fest.

Quote"Yes i am "Valentino Is God" and unlike some of you i seem to have the intelligence to realise that Pedrosa is stupid and has the brain of a five year old as well as being the height of a five year old." unquote.

My 5 year old son can't ride like that mate
<
and I challenge you to do the same .

Just a little credit where credit's due play fair mate.

I would like to make it clear that i have never said Pedrosa is a rubbish rider. In terms of riding ability he is almost as good as Rossi and until this season Capirossi.

Like you say thankfully it is not a personality contest coz we know who would come last!

Pedrosa was stupid to be that near to the back of Hayden though, it was an accident waiting to happen. He said he "was not trying to pass", yeah right.

And i would like to have a go at riding like that, obviously i would not even be capable of taking Nicky out though.

No guts no glory mate...........thats MotoGP, it's close and sometimes there is no cigar, but if that pass (if it were a pass) had of paid off.........who knows and Hayden had already stuck a similar successful pass on Pedrosa before that happened, sometimes they knock each other off, I don't think there is one rider on the grid who hasn't made someone crash at one time or another. It's a mistake.........oh lordy I don't know why I'm sticking up for Pedrosa but you know I just think you are being a bit mean lol.

I know Hayden made a similar yet successful pass on Pedrosa the lap before i think but he was in a much more attacking position when it came to the corner.

Honda should have spoken to Pedrosa about not doing anything risky near Nicky. Yamaha spoke to Edwards and Rossi and Colin said after the race that he would never have even got anywhere near to Valentino, whether or not he was actually capable of doing so is another matter. So Honda should take some of the blame for not implementing simple "team orders".

But at the end of the day it was just a little common sense needed really on Pedrosa's part, i mean if you were in Dani's position there would you have even contemplated such a manouvere, i know i wouldn't of.

i agree, i love a racer who races regardless of who it is or where it is,most of the times it works and your a hero sometimes it goes .... up and you look a nob but at least he is a hard charging racer and i respect him for that.

Yes i suppose it is the person Pedrosa i hate as it is his personality (or lack of it) which i dislike. However, it was stupid of him to even get anywhere near to the back of Nicky's bike in such a situation. i respect the talent Pedrosa has as a rider although he still has a lot to learn and needs to improve to challenge the likes of Valentino on a permanent basis, but when it is a dry race Pedrosa on the Repsol Honda will usually be a threat.

appology accepted - see thats a better argument than the five year old statement!

well its just what you believe, the only thing we know for definate is that is was NOT hayden's fault - unlike a certain someone wanted us to believe!

personally i dont think he was trying to pass (after watching the video a million times to see
<
), but then again im biassed- i suppose. i get that not everyone would believe it was an accident but its in the past and you just have to class it as a racing incident that hopefully wont happen again.

The best: Having an American win the championship.

The worst: Rossi losing the championship the way he did.

The best bit was leaving rainy old england and arriving in SUNNY Valencia to see the race and meeting Captian Jack and Dannozx10r from the forum!

The worst moment was when Gibbers went down and took out half the pack at Catalunya

Having watched that awful moment when Daijro Kato lay on the track at Suzuka, Catalunya brought back a lot of bad memories.

BEST-----Hayden winning the Championship

WORST-----Kawi sucked almost every round. I really wish they would spend some money and get their program together...It doesn't look much better this year either.
